Lunar mission 1 is impossible

I've been trying to complete the first lunar mission and I cannot get better than a 3:34:5XX. I've watched a few videos on YouTube and in all of them the rover gets up to 17mph whilst I struggle to get up to 15mph! Are there any settings I'm missing out here? Any help will be massively appreciated.

I'll post one Chris - soon Just practice over and over 1st. minute to find fastest route - then when that's done you go for fastest route for the first two minutes and after 45 mins you have found a good route for it - sorry - don't know why somebody has to be so "trashy" in their comments... (one hand...)? Never mind them (Coryboy..)- Keep it up Chris!!

Never bothered with these missions, but this thread got me curious. So I gave it a go & got the gold after 25mins, its much easier if you use the DS3: use the X button for the throttle so you can blip it easier,
:use 3rd person view so you can see the buggy react, as well as upcoming rocks and hills.
Try that and you'll nail gold in no time Good Luck.

Okay Coryboy Your a good boy then - I just don't like all these negative attitudes sometime - sorry mate! Keep it up - the fun. Have you seen the video when I overtake the beemer in Nurnburgring using my VW Sambabus - fully loaded...?
