Toyota 86 Gr.B Rally Car
700pp Not Dirt

Another fun car, very fast with 720hp at 700pp. I wasn't too sure about road going rally cars, but I stuck with this one until it got good. I tried it out after winning a free nitrous kit in the lottery. 720hp with nitrous down the back straight of Deep Forest is simply not fair, so don't do that. I learned a lesson trying to get this beast to handle on the tracks, in finding that stiffer springs and low anti-roll bars works for rally cars, so I got that going for me. I also hit a point where any other improvement I tried jumped the pp to 705 or more for the slightest change, so I think I found a sweet spot in the tune.

This thing handles pretty well now, and with all this power, is one of the faster 700pp cars I have. The 86 is a beast on Le Mans, and when I got a completely dry track for the first time in forever, I got 30:05 in 7 laps and 2 stops (FM 4 for 3 laps) which is like an average of 4:10 laps. I know, I'm as surprised as you guys.

I think this is also my best time at Brands Hatch WTC 700, and this is before I made the final changes. Have fun with this bad boy.

This is for Le Mans. Try a final drive closer to 4.400 for shorter straights.

Def my fastest 7-lap, don't mind the 4:11 either. Really great tune.

Edit: This was with the 86 Gr. B.

Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo

By request, a drivable Amuse S2000. This wasn't easy, see above. I think I got it under control and performant. Braking is not 100% safe, gas mileage is bad, but I think I like this car now. My first version was the Grip tune, where I got the handling balanced out as best I could. I recommend it for tighter tracks as there is enough power to go with the better handling. Dragon Tail Gardens is a lot of fun, and so is Alsace GrB. But underpowered for Le Mans.

The next one trades downforce for power, with a slight change to ride height. It keeps the balance but a little more slidey, and gains 9hp and 9 ft-lb of torque. This is enough of a difference to catch and pass cars at Le Mans. I think it was fuel map 3 for 2 laps, then wets and FM 6 for 3 laps, then 2 more to finish it out. I had so much rain and slogged through it with a big enough lead, I chilled for 30 seconds in front of the finish line until the clock ran down to take the win in 6 laps. Not my proudest racing moment, but I would have been late to pick up my kid from school if I did lap 7.

Settings not pictured: Brake Balance -2, Transmission set to 290 and you might need to change final drive to 4.952. Let me know if this doesn't work and I'll take a proper picture. Someone named Suki did the livery.

Fast and predictable now. I forgot how bad this car was on fuel at Lemans, my '69 Camaro and Vette drink less . Thanks again buddy

Added the Racing Crank and Custom Trans as I felt the stock box was tuned too hot for Sarthe, but I do want to run it again with the stock box and see how it performs. I am probably out of time for today though.

Escudo!!!
Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special '98

Hang on tight, this is going to be a wild ride. My goal with this tune was no power reduction so all 981hp are there in full effect. A little more front downforce would help, but I would have had to lower power so no. The handling is still good if you are careful. It can't go full throttle on the last turn at Sardegna for example, but it can still go 180mph or more on the front straight anyway. I just got 24:47 on the moneymaker, and a 17:31 at Watkins Glen, so I think it's good to go.

Nothing on the last page. Brake Balance 0. FM 3 for 5 laps and 2 stops at Sardegna.

I’m trying it right now.

Nice. Now is it faster than Praiano's? I don't remember if I have ever had a faster tune than him. Maybe this is the one lol. 😂
I haven't run his yet, tomorrow probably. My times will likely be up just knowing the course better now.

Honda NSX Gr.B Rally Car
I've decided I really like the rally cars now. 730hp for a 700pp car more than makes up for its funky handling. Funky or not, this car does handle well on any track and blows away the competition on 700pp races. Be careful in the rain with the extra torque and still somewhat unstable wet braking though.

The NSX Gr.B can do 3 laps at Le Mans at FM 5 and 2 laps at FM 1 (barely). I don't have a screenshot but this car can do 4:00 flat at FM 1 at Le Mans, no joke. (Note to self: get screenshot)

You can make the gears a little longer for Le Mans if you want. It only hits the middle of 6th gear at FM5, but maxes at 187mph or so on the straights at FM1. There's nothing on the other page other than Medium RPM turbo and Brake Balance 0.

Would these GR B tunes work for the World Rally Challenge races?

Like a razors edge! No understeer, no oversteer, the brake and gas pedal dance to the win! Awesome job man!!! I just went 3 seconds faster on Watkins than I ever have. The NSX 24 tune kicks ass too. Thank you!

OK, just ran Pra’s setup. Yours was faster in my hands and I’m more comfortable with the car and the course now. So for MY driving style, your tune worked better.
Thanks bud. This is all for fun of course. Somehow I feel like I have solved Rally Car tuning, so I'm happy about that.

You worked magic with the Amuse GT1, will try the Escudo and this tune hopefully tonight.

edit: Just ran both tunes and they were almost too easy to drive. Great job man!!

I need to post some tunes. It's been a while. I have a quick one to share though.

Lamborghini Veneno 700pp - RH Tires and ECU only. Set ECU to 70 and go race.

I got 16:05 on Deep Forest with a couple laps under 1:30, though it takes 2 stops. I think it's possible for 1 stop at FM6, but it would not be as much fun. Based on DF, it should be able to do other WTC 700 races at 1 stop. I'll try some more tracks, but chances are I won't tune it or add parts. Have fun!

The Veneno is OP for a road car with regards to fuel economy. One of these days I’ll prove it at Spa and have successfully completed the Grand Slam, she has already won the Big Three EASILY. I haven’t done anything to the internals either.

Am I missing something? With stock Veneno and only RH tires with ECU 70 I will be at 750 PP.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '13

This is a quick tune for me but the car did not put up as much of a fight as I thought it would. The Veyron was a nightmare to turn in GT5 if I remember correctly, but here it is not bad. I thought it would drive more like a Viper too, like point it straight, hit the gas and hold on tight, but it was more mild mannered than that. It still is heavy and will understeer if you come in too hot, but it is steady and confident if you don't push too hard. Have fun!

Wide tires, front and rear wing, great color choice lol. I didn't do the transmission, so some improvement could be made there.
So very smooth, just sticks to the road. Wet track? Not an issue, its got a fantastic 4WD. I’m not sure the gearbox needs any work, MAYBE a taller 1st/2nd, but its pretty buttery if you ask me. I tinkered with the economy, any way you slice it she won’t give you 3 laps at Sarthe, so I threw caution to the wind and slapped on the H Turbo and an IC (I’d love to get that U Turbo for this).

And I just realized I didn’t get my replay photo with the lap times, damn. Its OK, I know there was a bit of improvement there for me and I want to retest her.

@madmyk just a note of thanks, your tunes are great! Love the Bugatti, Amuse and Escudo. Tip of the cap on your Escudo dude it’s fast!! Also Love the Group B NSX try the Ford Focus and 86 GrB also, really great. I use them a lot and have for awhile mainly cuz I’m learning to tune and they already are close enough for me to get a decent tune on them. Ok Thanks again!
Edit:embarrassed:ops guess your familiar with 86GrB I didn’t see it earlier lol but your tune is better than mine! Haha Thanks again!

I'm back from vacation tonight. I'll check tomorrow. I can also post what I have for the Mach Forty which is good but not great. It's really bad on gas so I stopped working on it.
