Magic Wand

I know/heard that the Magic Wand is a powerful tool in Photoshop. But what does it do?! What are its benefits?

I design logos and 'shop cars, but I never used it. What is it for?

Selects areas of one certain color. You can set it to be more or less sensitive to the area that it selects.

Yes. Like Bimmerkid said, it selects one certain colour. Example: If you have a picture that is half red and half green. If you click anywhere in the red, it'll select any surrounding red.

You can change the tolerance sto be more or less sensitive to the area that it selects, like Bimmerkid said.
