Jian Feng sued his wife for giving birth to what he called an “incredibly ugly” girl.

“I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues,” he told the Irish Times. “Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me.”

Initially Jian accused his wife of infidelity, because he knew he could never be the father of an unattractive child. However, DNA tests proved that the child was indeed his. Feng’s wife then came clean and admitted she had about $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery done in South Korea before they met.

Feng sued his wife on grounds of false pretenses, for not telling him the truth about the plastic surgery, and duping him into believing that she was beautiful. A judge agreed with Feng’s argument and ordered his wife to fork over $120,000.

One word. Damn.

I find it sad and both hilarious at the same time.

i feel the same way, don't know whether to laugh or cry:boggled:
How could you take something subjective and judge it, and take assets from someone as a result:odd:

The pics finally loaded. The kids don't look that bad at all. I thought they would look much worse than that. Also you never know, they could grow up beautiful...maybe. I guess you really can sue for anything these days.

It is indeed sad and a little funny. But more sad for sure. But I guess that's what happens with plastic surgery.

I guess this is in China, because that link takes forever to load.

China is the new 'Murica with silly courtcases! Sue everyone!

It'd be even funnier if it turned out they had both had cosmetic surgery.

Actually the headlines and thread title are incorrect. Her giving birth to "ugly children" may have precipitated the suit, but the suit is over the fact that she deceived him prior to marriage, over her cosmetic surgery. Which sounds like a reasonable basis for a lawsuit to me.

I've heard about cosmetic surgery craze in South Korea, but daaaamn. I want to see the "before" photo!

Had this man known of her cosmetic surgery, would he still have married her ? Maybe, maybe not, who knows. Is she obligated to tell him of her premarital surgery ?

All in all, I think this guy is just going skin deep and being a jackass about it. For the woman, do the $120K payout.

Then .....

Divorce his ass and collect XXX.XX per month for each child until they are 18. Woman gets her money back, and then some.

*assuming she wins custody of the children*

New life goal: Become plastic surgeon in Korea.

Also, damn, that girl has basketball player hands.

While it's not absolute, generally the traits a newborn receives is passed down from mom and dad so if you have two parents who look like that, you'd imagine their kids would at least resemble one of the parents. Except that partially isn't the case since we've all been fooled by the modified face, yet at the same time, it's now obvious what mommy more or less really looked like which is why I find it humourous.

I only find it sad what dad did following after the big surprise.

BTW I think the photo is most likely photoshopped because the article only mentions their daughter being hideous. Surely dad would've his nose if he had a son beforehand that also looked like that Then again, citing the article, he's specifically addressed "his first daughter" like they've only had boys up until now.

OK, jtv beat me to it, but here's the video I was watching.

I agree with their take(& Andy's). I don't condone what the wife has done, but the dad is the one that needs to be smacked. I feel for the baby.

It's Justin Beiber ... who really gives a 🤬 about him or what his money bought ?

Not I.

I meant to say "It's a Justin Beiber fan". Sorry, I was caught up in the Stanford - Oregon game.

Still ... a male fan with more money than brains none the less.

I don't know, I feel for him. When you marry and have kids with somebody it's not some construct of modern society, it is to reproduce. You choose a mate just like any other animal on the planet. And getting stuck with a mate who lied about their genetics and passed rotten genes onto your kids, well, in the animal kingdom some trickery like that would get you killed.

I'm more than handsome enough to compensate if my future baby mama ends up having ugly genes.

The seed is strong.

This guy's an assclown. We're not talking about a car that's been surreptitiously repaired and sold, this is a human being.

This is what we mean by China's law being in contempt for...well, anyone.
