Many die in Philippine mudslide

Hundreds of Filipinos are feared to have died after the side of a mountain collapsed and buried their village. Nineteen people are known to have been killed and 83 have been found alive, but rescue officials say between 1,500 and 2,500 more might be under the mud.
A school and hundreds of homes were swamped as a torrent of mud and rocks swept over the site on the island of Leyte, following heavy rains.

What's sad is that many people refused to evacuate... and some of those people killed had just returned from a previous evacuation.

Second big one to hit that province in recent years.

A whole village gone. I called home to see which province luckily it wasn't my grandmothers hometown. But damn, a whole village...

I hope my Aunts and Uncles are ok...I need to ask my dad which province that they are in..I think they are in Pasay City or Metro Manila...Pray for the villagers please ,I will do the same.
