Having put god knows how many hours into the 1+2 remake, this is definitely going to take up a significant part of my summer 😁

These were some of my favourite games growing up but having tried the remake of the first game I am just not good at these games anymore, find them extremely frustrating which I didn't at all when I played the originals.

I could probably get good again if I had the time to practise but patience and time are in short supply these days 😅

This remake does look good though i must admit.

To me Playing 1+2 felt very natural after long break from THPS series... Muscle memory was still there.
Back in the day i was too young/bad to play without cheats, so i just did unlimited combos spamming Special tricks in THPS3 (which probably helped to build solid muscle memory, haha.)

Never got to play 4 so i'm really excited to test it, THPS 3 i remember too well to not be that excited, but i'm curious to see is it still possible to Speedrun in ~4mins!

Can't help but think, maybe there's a small chance for SSX remasters.

Thing to note about the remake is that the THPS4 levels are apparently going to be more aligned with 3 goal-wise and not be free-form tackle-em-whenever.

Not a dealbreaker, just done to presumably make development more streamlined.

I loved SSX Tricky so much fun! Good to see they are remaking more Tony Hawk games

If they are going to hack apart THPS4 like that they might as well not have included it IMO. I'm not sure how much I really care because THUG was when that gameplay style was perfected and THPS3 is better anyway and what I'd actually want this for, but you're not really remaking THPS4 if you're completely changing how the game is played.


Paywalling Doomguy as a guest character when you own both franchises anyway and the Cursed Randy Version of THPS3 had him for free is also kinda douchey.

THPS4 takes up a vague part of my memory, but I do remember the levels being awesome.

Zoo and Carnival comes to mind.

andyTHPS is going to be feasting this year.
