Happy New Year GT-R fans. Here are some MCR wallpapers that I have created for you lucky lot. :D

I like them. I'm not a huge fan of the font though. It would be more interesting in a different font, with a little more catchiness to it.

It's a terrible font (Comic Sans), but it's the font of MCR. Keep it real I say! ;)

I was scouring through all my copies of Options and Option2s to find the MCR website, didn't find anything and thought I'd treat you to some wallpapers from scanning the magazine and then adding the logos and the letterboxes.

I would like to see your definition of ricer, because it doesn't match up with anyone on this site. Please share your thoughts on what a "ricer" might be. I personally think it would be nothing like this GTR, but more like the GTR used in 2Fast 2Furious.

I'll post up the specs later. I have a ten page article about this and a few other expressway eaters doing a time trial lap around a few different sections of an expressway. I'll put my translating trousers on and try and come up with something for you later on.

The last I heard, it was the fastest Skyline on the Wangan.

Top Secret is known to have the fastest Supra, on the Wangan. :)

No problem at all, Akira. I'm only glad that I'm able to bring these pictures to you guys, as I know how hard it is to find nice big pics of modified cars in Japan on the web.

Which brings me to this: Why is it that Japan has the probably the largest car tuning culture in the world, the most digital camera manafacturers and probably the highest amount of amateur photographers per capita, yet there is almost nowhere to find large, hi-res pics of the cars. Oh, there's plenty of tiny pictures, but no bigguns. Maybe it's because they have the best cars that they don't have time to take photos of them. They'd much rather be putting them through their paces on the wangan or at the local circuit. And more power to them for it, that's certainly what I'd be doing!

EDIT: Did you know that MCR also built an FD3S RX-7? You do now. ;) (No concrete specs on this one I'm afraid.)

What is the torque in kg?

For a factory displacement 2.6 liter RB26 w/TO4R on low boost, it will make more TQ than that. And considering this is a stroked 2.8 liter, it should make alot more.

I see the doubters coming out of the woodwork now... :lol:

1.5kg cm2 was the original figure. Did I work it out wrong? My maths is poor! :(
