Max Drive 16mb + MK's garage editing prog

After I read this hybrid forum I get an idea that Max Drive wouldn't work properly or at all with MK's program. Mainly because MK's garage editing program doesn't support those .max files you'll get from Max Drive.

I don't yet have Max Drive so I can't test it but I downloaded that MK's program and searched some GT3 save game file in .max format. I found one. Then I downloaded XPSToMaxMemConvertor and converted .max file to .xps file. Then I opened it in MK's program and it seemed to work completely right.

So is it possible to make hybrids with MK's program by transferring tha save game data from PS2 to Max Drive and there on to PC?

Answers would be very appreciated.

yes i do it. all you need to do is like you said, convert it to an XPS file

That's exactly what I wanted to hear
I've heard that those converters wouldn't work, but they seems to work properly.
Now I've just have to wait until I get Max Drive, it's sold out almost in every shop in Finland

Also make sure to convert it back to max when copying it back to your USB stick, and when copying it back to your PS2 memory card, you need to choose uncrush instead of copy.
