Well. I just spend three days digging into GT7. Enough experience to have a real view on the newborn. May I have your votes?
I give it a 85-90 out of 100. Love the visuals, good physics, AI mostly not too bad, and after the initial grind, I am thoroughly enjoying myself.
Please do not vote if you have not played the game.

I've put in one long evening. I'm fairly impressed so far. I'm playing the 25th anniversary edition digital download on a 1 terabyte ps4 slim and it shows video output is at 2k and it looks great.
I will vote after I put some more time in.

It pretty good on the driving and racing side of things which has for the most part been a lot of fun.

What knocks a few points off my score are things like cumbersome menus that seem needlessly complicated just to do simple things. Not sure what I mean just go change the colour of your car and see how many steps it takes to achieve that. There are other things missing too like as far as I can tell you have no clue what the weather is without going into a race. It seems obvious to me but wouldn't it be simple just to show the weather radar in the start race screen so that you can make an informed choice on your car setup before you start the race.

These are just a couple of small frustrations among a few others that for me that stop it just short of being truly exceptional but those aside it's been a fun experience so far and there is still plenty more racing to be done going forward that I am sure I will enjoy.

I ordered it a few weeks back when Curry's had a deal on . Got it Friday minus the bonus thing for 100000 and a car (annoying)
Played until today Sunday.
Tried doing the licences and the first two I got golds eventually the third and next all bronze the next one cannot do it for anything being on the same one for over an hour and bronze is 31 seconds and the car I think was a Mazda 787b the first car on the licence which hits 200mph and gives you the 200mph trophy, I cannot do it.
It is my skill level but I have the game on Beginner and it is still far to difficult so I have given up as if I am getting frustrated and that means I am not enjoying it so I deleted it and have put it up for sale with the PS5 as there isn't anymore games I want or play.

So to score it, game play graphics etc it is brilliant. But difficulty is far to hard so I am in the middle of the road. I want to score it high because it is brilliant but the fact it is so hard and I know I cannot do it drags it down.
Going have to go half way 75/100 Brilliant game but far to Difficult.
Sorry if I offend this is just my opinion.

It has a very very solid foundation. There are just some smaller puzzling choices that PD made that make me scratch my head.
*Menus are clunky on so many levels. The race menus are difficult to navigate. Simple things like painting your car shouldn't be that difficult.
*Why can't I get back to the garage from anywhere? Previous games had that option so I'm not sure what made PD take that option out. Just let me click on my car on top and get back to the garage.
*As a follow-up from previous point, why can't I just look at the car in the garage? Why do I have to get into it to get to pull up the car's page?
*The way that it deals with the weather is a mess. Let me somehow know the chance of rain before I start the race. Or I'm forced to only race on intermediate tires.
*Can't sell cars? [insert confused Will Smith meme]

Otherwise I really love the game. Just make these small quality of life updates and we're golden!

I'm at 95.
I love the new physics and also liked the ideas with the cafe. Driving missions are back, too. I just hope there will be more of both added after the release.
Haven't tried Multiplayer yet. I just hope they'll revert to fixed setups for Sport mode...

From a nostalgia perspective I can't place this above GT2 and GT4 yet but the game has massive potential. As long as PD sticks to their promise and gives us plenty of added content - even if I have to pay for it, I am an adult now after all - it could expand the scope of the game to a level nearing those two titles. There's just something about the sheer amount of content in GT2 that I still to this day have never discovered, especially the racing modifications. And the sheer amount of time I spent in GT4, and how new things like the photomode were, and how we all interacted here in GTP.

As a base modern game I'm giving this thing a 90/100 for its extreme attention to detail, and despite the relative lack of content I'm putting it in 2nd place as the best GT of all time, right below 2 and 4 which are tied for 1st. Time will tell how this game evolves and improves and more importantly how it effects me.

I'll have to give it a "don't know, yet". 🤪

My copy showed up about 30 minutes ago. I finished what I was doing and came in and started the download for the PS4 version. I have a PS5 on order, but it won't be here until Wednesday (at least, that's what tracking says). So I figured I'd cash in the PS4 digital version just to get a taste of it before Wednesday/Thursday (I'll be at work when the PS5 arrives, sadly). So it's currently downloading.....only 10 hours left 😐 . But it is what it is. I knew it would be a long download (which I'll have to sit through, again, on Wednesday.

90/100

I love the game but as has already been said, a few puzzling design choices hold it back from true greatness.

After paying $96.00 for the 25th Anniversary Edition and only able to do the license test because of the Cafe Menu bug I voted 55/100 or lower. I'm finished with all the licenses and now hope for fix soon to be able to play the game.
