I have both of these cars but i prefer the BMW, not sure why, it's something with the way it drives, what do you think.....

I reckon the 787 hands better. I've tuned the BMW a fair but, and still cant get rid of that mild corner entry understeer, without adding too much corner exist oversteer.

Perhaps its just my driving style.

That's your opinion. I personally like the look of the V12 LMR almost as equally as I like the 787B.

Um, have you even driven it? It's a standard car, so without Cockpit View you are left to use Gauge View..which makes rain racing easier because it doesn't accumulate on screen.

I haven't voted because i like them both, the BM is very quick as is the Mazda but the Mazda just sounds so awesome.

Pity you didn't give the option of both.

I really enjoyed using the V12 LMR when I first tried it, but it took a while for me to appreciate the 787B. It's a good car, it's just that I don't rank it as one of my favourites. I much prefer the V12 LMR, which is infact one of my favourite cars in the game.

I would like to know how many of those who voted 787B have actually tried the BMW. Sure, both cars are good, but to me the BMW is faster.

I can understand if cockpit view is the biggest reason that people vote 787B though...

I prefer the BMW V12 LMR. It seems more glued to the track whereas the 787B slides around. Tuning it may fix it though. Mazda 787B does have an awesome cockpit view and looks good but the BMW is quicker.

I have both and I like them both, each for different reasons, the BMW is a very stable car and has few faults in it's handling but the Mazda has "That Sound" and a great cockpit view! It would be a toss up if I could only drive one of them but I voted for the 787B because of the mentioned sound!:)

Quick question, can the 787b only be bought? I'm ignoreing the 'lottery' type ways of getting the car via tickets etc etc?

Just thought I'd ask before I go ahead and spend 5mill on the car tonight.

Also, how is the carbon version obtained?

Its not a prize car other than the tickets which are random, I've got the stealth model, its not a carbon model and it could only be gotten from the pre-orders of the game, or signature edition of the game :sorry: You can buy the code for it on ebay, but would probably cost an arm and a leg :)

My stealth model has 0.0 miles on it, I'm afraid to use it and ruin its cleaness :?:

You can get it from a Ticket 1000 or 1991 birthday ticket.

Cool. So if your birth day isnt 1991, its essentially a lottery (i.e. Ticket 1000). I might just go ahead and purchase this bad boy tonight.

What supprised me about this car, is that it makes 700hp, but revs only to 9000rpm. To be honest, this sort of power from only 2.6ltrs at such low revs is truely amazing.

Interesting tid-bit from wiki:
From the Mazda Motor Museum website, it claims the engine has a maximum output of 930 hp (690 kW), and a maximum redline of 10,500rpm. This setup was not used during racing for worries associated with reliability.
