I do think we’ll get a whole host of Hypercars because many are produced by major manufacturers. PD don’t really model many of the specialist constructors seen in LMP1/2.I only own the Sauber C9 - just bought it today, in the hopes it'll potentially be better for the Gr.1 races than my Audi R18 TDI '11 - but I'd say my favorite Group C racer that isn't the 787B is the Nissan. I just like the way it looks.
As for my favorite Group C car that isn't in GT yet - but I think would be a likely addition - I'd say the Toyota TS010, as it'd compliment the other Gr.1 Toyotas perfectly. Especially if they end up adding the TS020. But it'd also be part of the Group C era that we seem to get the most cars for in GT, being mostly the late 80s/early 90s era. Not to say the 88C-V couldn't return - as it is indeed from the late 80s - but I just feel that the TS010 would be far more appropriate, especially with the recent addition of the GR010.
The un-raced Alfa Romeo SE 048SP would be great, too, especially to give Alfa Romeo a Gr.1 car.
I mean, either of these would certainly be more likely than the Group C racers from Lancia or Lamborghini, which came in the early 80s. And on that note, I hope a good chunk of GTP/LMH cars come to GT, as it'd both give Gr.1 representation to automakers like Lamborghini, Acura, Cadillac, BMW, and Ferrari - as well as Lexus and McLaren, potentially - but also to automakers that could use a more updated Gr.1 car, like for Porsche or Alpine. On that note, I'm really hoping the GM Design VGT is both still active, and ends up being a hypothetical Gr.1 version of the C8 Corvette.
I could see Gr.1 becoming one of the mainstays of the Manufacturers Cup like Gr.3/4.
