Mazda MX-5 Miata meet at Trial Mountain

I said I would do this so here it is. Use any Miata and try to get your best time. Post it here with the setups, and I'll put the times in order.

GT3 only
do the run in Free Run in Arcade mode

yea, I didn't think about people working. I'm only 15, and can't work, so I have too much time on my hands.

I had a few spare minutes so I gave your challenge a quick go.

This is what I used-

Mazda MX-5 1.8i
Fully modded.
340hp
Super soft tires.

Very little settings adjusted from std except for gearing and brake balance. TCS & ASM set to 0

Best lap of 4 - 1:26.467

I just raced again, this time I did 20 miles worth of laps, and got a new time of 1'25.793!

Some things I noticed were that the Miata has a very high drift rate, and a few times I almost wiped out. I also did a high speed run and toped out at 205, and I would only be able to get a little faster, but I didn't try.

Thanks, it was hard to get that time. I was sliding all over the place, and a lot of times, I was doing a geat run, and then I'd go too fast into a corner and wreck.

I bought a Mazda MX-5 (J) 93 model and that's modable to 360hp.

Found this car much better than the one I was using previously.

Managed a best lap of 1:24.989

It's a '93 Miata VR/Limited B.
It's one of the cars you win from the Miata Endoro. I cheated after I already beat the race to get the other cars.
The VR/Limited A is dark purple with a tan top and tan seats. The Miata also has '93-'95 RX-7 look-alike wheels, and a stabalizer bar behind the seats.
The VR/Limited B is dark green with a green top. Same as above, but seats are black.

Both can be tuned to 371 HP, the most for any Miata in GT history, ecept hybrids.
