Good practice last night at Tsukuba, Ph1sher. That little track is fast, and I think the Mini Cooper is a blast to run there. Should be a lot of fun once we get some more peeps on the track.
loyxx, glad to see you interested. You are one of the main reasons I came up with this concept for this series. The casual, beginner or intermediate racer who hasn't put in a lot of time on the track, or can't devote a lot of time to earning the cash needed to get the cars for that week. This series is setup to require one car for the entirety of the season, and then change it up for the next one. Even if all you did was buy the Mini Cooper S, and then run the practice races with us for 2 weeks, you should have enough from those (if you sign into the game everyday and keep up your 200% bonus) to buy the cappuccino or one of the GT500 cars (depending on which series you are seeded into) and be set for the season. Then all you have to pay for is Oil changes before every race.
The more I talk to people, the more I see the need for this type of series in these forums. Its a pick up and go series, but if you put some time into practices and hanging out with those who have been around and understand the tracks, you can learn a lot very quickly. Just last night, Ph1sher helped me to pick up about 2 seconds on my fastest lap around Tsukuba, and we were the only ones there. Tell your friends, and by all means, show up, and we'll be glad to help you out with what you need to get running.
