Im sure that I heard somewhere that the '12 was banned from a british sportscar field?
As it was to fast for the compitition, thats what i heard in any case

You mean like the occupants head off the dashboard? Front ends are meant to crumple in order to dissipate energy that would otherwise to transmitted to the cockpit

I'm guessing it's built stronger so that in a high speed wreck you have some chance of survival. The crumple zones in most cars are good for like 55mph, but if you hit something going 100 or more you're probably going to be in the crumple zone, which isn't good.
