Looks like I have download it from school then (I'm on NTL too).

Then again , these videos are truly awesome to me at least minus that fact. The Mclaren may not be the "ultimate" supercar anymore but its still my favourite. For styling and for being a true classic supercar:tup:
 
The 4th is the best. I'd have a giant grin like that guy too if I was buying a McLaren.

I never wanted this car, and now I like it even less. I'll take Veyron over this. that way I don't need to take a surgery every time after I'd drive the car.
 
This is and always will be the #1 supercar for me. It still looks perfect, sounds great and is immensely fast. I agree that the power of a Veyron is more accessible, it's more comfortable and so on.
On the other hand, the Veyron is no direct competitor for me. That's more like Enzo territory, and compared to that, I'd always take the McLaren. Remember this car is 12 years old by now, and still up there. :drool:

I wish it was in English, the car looked almost too fast for Tsukuba. :lol: The video also made me realise how much the car lifts under acceleration!

Also, the driver several times looked as if he had trouble getting into 3rd gear.

His name is Dan Kennedy, he is a dotcom millionare that live in Scottsdale Arizona

The car is not his daily driver rather part of a stable of cars. He also owns the enzo that is seen in the video. Using the car for? Come on now :P watch the video thats what its for. This is also the same car that appears sometimes at sema with a matching hummer and trailer in the same colour. Thank god he keeps the stock rims on when he is not at that show. Putting other rims on in place of those magnesium ones is blasphemy.

As far as speeding the brand new car around like that? I meen why not. I dont know if he got this when it was brand new, Im not sure of that as there is no indication of that in the video, but when you purchase a Mclaren you get it completely overhauled in Woking England and its colours and specs are fit to your like. In example you can have a high downforce package fitted to the car if you want to track the car more or have it painted in the most exotic colour of your choice. When your car costs over a million dollars its fairly easy to see why they dont seem to push it to the limit. You got the money to get it, you better damn well have the money to fix it.:sly:
 
Has anyone ever seen the video talking about the 95 LeMans race?
I think it's called "Pursuit of Perfection".
I've heard about it but never found it.

Also I read someone saying that they'd be to scared to drive the car if they had it, but this car is supposed to be one of the most friendly supercar in the world. It was considered the first "every day" supercar.

PS: I've actually been to the factoy and saw them putting XP5's wheels on the car.
 
I'm trying to remember, but I think Dan K. actually sold the car to a dealership in Atlanta.

EDIT: Yes, he did. It was, and now belongs to someone else.
