i wish they would say 'tone it down or this thread will get closed' or something like that

It has recently become policy that moderators will state the reason for the thread closure in the thread. Unless of course it's sufficiently offensive (the thread, that is, not the reason) that the thread will become recycled immediately.

Back on topic...

The McLaren F1 LM is a great looking car, and disproves the notion that rear wings are automatically bad. Personally, for example, I would say that the appearance of the Enzo would be enhanced by the addition of an F50-style wrapover wing.

The Koeningsegg CC has had a lot of claims made about it, but I think it is yet to justify them in independent testing. I saw one at Silverstone on the GP weekend, and it looks very smart in the metal.

"...and top speed of 245mph - which, if proven, will make it the fastest road car in the world..."
-top gear

Sorry, not yet. To me, this car is merly just another Veyron. They claim rediculous times that they can't back up. Not so much this car though.

Top Gear is always wrong - the Batmobile does like 260.

That's before the afterburner kicks in, though. After that it's like 400, easy.

If you could find enough straigh, flat land, 425.

Downhill + a slight wind from behind, and 427-ish isn't so hard to accomplish. You could only hit 426 if you had a crooked ear sticking out of the cockpit, though.:nervous:

Does the standard F1 have an air conditioner, or a CD player? If you can provide a link to where I can find out I would appreciate it a lot.

Actually, I think the McLaren F1 DOES have a CD Player.

On the other hand, my Ford Fiesta has neither. And that certainly ISN'T a track car. Unless it's Demolition Derby... :D
