i'm guessing your saying why do we need mclarens when there is like nearly 600 cars, right?

well, about 50% of those cars are ****boxes (eg. Daihatsu) and 99.9% of the people that play this game don't go out and buy ****boxes, they buy powerful supercars.

-If you want a Mclaren, go play NFS4
-GT2 has the cars that are more realistic and "supercars" that no other games have

Yeah they are good, they are good at the Pikes Peak rally. That is where they really shine at. Plus that is what they were made for, not roadracing.

I was driving a suzuki swift. Then I played GT1. after trying a lot of cars, I decided that the MA70 supra (the 87-93 version) would be the coolest car to buy if I wanted a race car. So I traded the suzuki in on a toyota supra, lo and behold, GT2 comes out a month later, and the baddest car in GT2 is a damn Suzuki.

Sega bought an exclusive for the rights to the racetrack 'Daytona Speedway' last I heard, Sega's Daytona is the only game to feature the track. ATTENTION AUTOMAKERS: Never sign an EXCLUSIVE agreement with a video game company...

EA sucks at making driving games. They bought out the 3DO rights to 'Need For Speed.' If you haven't noticed, Need for speed was awesome. Need For Speed II was good. Then EA got ahold of NSF and NSF III sucked, then NSF IV Porsche sucked...
EA may be able to make a football game, but their racers suck.

i think that NFS V was best from NFS, althought maybe this particular game took us Porsches away from GT for long time...:-/

I got it from the Bonus Playstation Disc which has the GT2 demo in it.

if you still remember what disk you got it from

maybe we can find the code to the mclaren and use a gameshark etc to change it out to see what it looked like, if there is a car body ( on the demo disk )

and i mean finding it on that disk that you got your info from not the ones that are official as they don't have it at all

WTF?! There was also going to be ferrari, porsche, and lamborghini in GT2?! Dammit, I wish these cars could make it in the game as well as many other tracks & cars that were cut from GT2, it would been even a more epic game than it is now.
