What I especially like about these times is look at 2nd fastest.... a Williams!
I hope this is a good indication for the coming season, I would love to see Williams back in the championship fold.

Hah 15 cars all within a second or just about. With the last person only having his second day in a Formula 1 car..

Go Marco!
:D

Hopefully this will be a moderate indication of the coming seasons, if so I can see a nice open championship going down to the wire again.

Wow, Kubica's looking fairly good. He and Hamilton look like the two most consistent over the two days. A lot of people I know think the Pole was just lucky in Monza last year and won't deliver in 2007, but seeing him there on the timing sheets makes me think we may be in for something different.

Kubica is the real deal. There is no way that he won’t deliver in the coming years.

9 F. Montagny 01:31.027 75 Laps

BMW looks good in the wet whilst McLaren's fall from grace was pretty drastic!

Hopefully BMW will carry its strong performance from last year into this season , they seem to be adapting well to Bridgstone tires .

They certainly appear to have improved, like McLaren, but Alonso claims the McLaren is still not a race winner and must be improved particularly in the handling...as he said -

"It is not going to win at the moment. For the time being, the thing I like most about it is the colour!"

and as for this

He stole a race seat from a world champion. Enough said.

...that's not exactly saying much with the recent version of Villenueve

The recent Villenueve who at the very least matched Heidfeld? Give the guy a break, after a very disastrous 1999-2004, he done well to get a race seat at all..

You guys are quick to bash on Villeneuve. He didn't that great at all in modern years, especially when he was at BAR. He did OK at Sauber in 2005 though, 2pts less than Massa, and in 2006, he was able to match Heidfeld during the first part half of the season. Ok, that's not great or amazing, but he did pretty decent.
