2 different kei cars, a 4wd wagon & a Fwd cabriolet, in sprint races
at a toscana tarmac track designed specifically for kei cars by cc570

Schedule:
Sunday 6 May 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST / 19:00 UTC
or
Tuesday 8 May 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST / 19:00 UTC

Event Duration: Just over 1 hour (+/-)

Cars:
Suzuki WAGON R RR '98 Prize Car (Aspec Beginner Series Light Weight Cup)
Daihatsu Copen Active Top '02 Premium Car (available in the NCD - New Car Dealership)
(both needed)

Car Regulations:
Comfort Medium Tires
Tuning: Prohibited
Allowed: oil change, engine rebuild, chassis restoration, wheel rims, & paint

Race Regulations:
All aids off except ABS (driver's choice)
tire wear on
damage light
slipstream weak
grip real
penalty off
boost off

Race Procedure:
10 minute qualifying duration
all cars stay on track until race start to preserve position
fastest first grid start
Race #1: 3 laps in Suzuki WAGON R RR '98
3 minute break
Reverse Grid Order
Race #2: 3 laps in Suzuki WAGON R RR '98
3 minute break
Reverse Grid Order
Race #3: 3 laps in Daihatsu Copen Active Top '02
3 minute break
Reverse Grid Order
Race #4: 3 laps in Daihatsu Copen Active Top '02

Race will be hosted in the MCRC_Lounge, add PSN: MCRC_Lounge
Get the FR in a.s.a.p. to assure acceptance in advance of racing.
In order to check the league lounge, you must click on the coffee cup,
and wait for the room content list to present.
No yellow people icon will show, even when the room is full.

Rules:
GTP OLR Rules
  • Please familiarize yourself with these rules prior to the event.
  • If you cause a contact, you must make contact concessions. ie: no bump-passing
  • Failure to make contact concessions will result in a post-race penalty concession. (ie: you will be placed below that racer in the results)
  • Retaliation, "payback", & monkey-see-monkey-do rule flouting will not be tolerated.
  • In the case where a driver does not participate in the previous race or leaves the lounge between races for any reason (including the unfortunate event of an involuntary disconnect), that driver will be placed in front on the grid according to RGO, and therefore, will voluntarily move aside letting the field pass, and start the race from the back of the grid. The purpose of this is to prevent scoffing.

I went with these 2 because the Copen is premium... and the Suzuki... I had 2 with 0 miles on my main acct, and 1 each on the other accts. All untouched. So I figured it's a prize car most people will have won, but never bothered to drive before!

In test driving the Suzuki, I discovered that it has all the typical 4wd attributes that give me trouble. :lol:
Neither car is very fast, of course. But both are stable. And the track is wide, but interesting. 👍

I found it most interesting that cc570 was able to create a toscana tarmac track with such low altitude changes. They're usually in the 130ft+ range. Lagunitas Kei has only an elevation change of 88ft! Perfect for low power cars! :)
 
I guess I will be up for this. And since I already have both cars, there is no need to go searching for them 👍 .

Well the event should finish up around 9pm BST. And of course anyone's welcome to join for as much as they like or can, and clear off when they need to. It's 4 races. So not to worry. 👍
 
Count me in for Sunday, but I may make it Tuesday as well.
I'll probably have the following colors:
Suzuki: Monaco Blue
Daihatsu: Juane Yellow

That's where we want to hold the race.

And I'm nearing the limit of my friends list myself, because of hosting lots of events since last year, and I don't want to have to start deleting people. :(
So it's really helpful if everyone has the lounge accts added, so we can just add to our own friends lists who we race with most often, and still be able to meet in the club lounges. 👍

I am going to try to make it... Son is having a birthday party, and I am not sure of how much refereeing I may need to do.

Is anyone in the lounge.
I cant get on the MCRC lounge as not befriended it. So I thought go through but Jackargent or someone but no ones on the event :S

WHERE IS EVERYONE!!!!
 
I can't find the yellow circle by jackargent's coffee cup. Seems like I'm not the only one having trouble though. :(
 
I'm pretty sure I can't get in because MCRC_Lounge didn't accept the request. Which leaves me pretty gutted, especially considering I sent the request on the 4th.

After the event, would anyone like to move to a different lounge and do some more racing? I'd really like to do something today at least.
