Yay...I've been waiting for this moment for a long time; The promise of 'Zo and Riley has finally been delivered!
Damn, I remember watching the Heat's first-ever game, when they played the Clippers. On the Heat's first posession, the player dribbled the ball off his foot, and it rolled out of bounds. They went on to lose their first 18 games...Needless to say, it was a long first season; 15 wins, and many losses by 20 points or more.
In any case, it was a good Playoffs, and even if the officiating wasn't the best, it's always impossible to catch every call. The Dallas Mavericks are a damn good team, as were the Detroit Pistons, and they both played fair; no fighting and unsportsmanlike conduct, so I commend both teams for providing such great competition for the Miami Heat.
Now I'm wishing I could get the day off and go see the championship parade today. Oh well.
