Your civic weighs in at 1200 kilos too, 1200kg:320hp VS 95kg:35hp. Do the math. You guys truly have no idea what you're talking about here. Professional karts aren't comparable with those 3hp monsters they have at your favourite downtown indoor kart center.

In my area, underbody neon cannot be used on public roads, not even when you're hijacking transport trucks. ie show only. IMO, it should actually be completely illegal on the grounds of bad taste...

I would be cheeky enough to suggest that the vast majority of the driving population (myself included) would be inclined to think someone driving with neons might be a bit of a (clear throat) - 'wanker'.

To each their own, but this thought just struck me. Note the careful phrasing.

Okay - just don't understand the motivation - seems a lot of trouble to go to, trying to acheive an effect that just costs money and adds weight and complexity to the car for no good effect.
