Also, I won't be home from work until about 10pm eastern time, just so you know. When is the race?
 
Here's a bit of an odd one. Triumph Spitfire. I have tried tried to tune it to match my 63 Spit racer. I've got a pretty fast set up for it, but I'm still not happy with it. Think you could give it a shot? It's already broken in, and got the parts, but I can't seem to nail it. I'm not worried about price, so just name something and I'll send it over.

Keep in mind guys, I can do the suspension tuning, but if you read the first post it's not exactly what I started this tuning shop for. The project cars on the website give you a good idea of what I had in mind. 👍

Indeed. Laguna Seca would be a good one to use for any testing as it is most like the tracks I race in the real world. As a fellow racer, excluding GT5, I figured you would be one of the best for helping me out with it. And if anything this should be a good test of your skills to see if you can match a real world race car ;) Good advertising perhaps?

I think for suspension tuning, what you've sent is more than enough. 👍

How's the car by the way? I'm always leery of tuning cars for people because a simple difference in driving styles could make a tune good or bad.
 
Yeah to be honey I just feels a little off today. Earlier this week I was pulling off 1:39's at Fuji F and now I'm having a hard time getting under 1:40. So maybe I just need to warm up again I'm not sure. You tune feels a tad on the oversteering side which is ok but I prefer a more understeerin car. Idk I'll get back with you with more time with the car.
 
See, because I didn't have issues with it over steering at all. After 5-6 laps it would start to pick up an understeering condition, but that's just because the tires were wearing out. Before that it felt great, hence my 1:38.3xx.

Ok I need to drive it more maybe foot is getting too heavy. You use 3rd gear to get out most the corners or 2nd?

I used 2nd for the first turn, and in the little chicane. Used 3rd or 4th everywhere else.

Ok I'm doing the same thing. It's just crazy how fast you are. You remember you speed in the fast right hand sweeper?
 
No, sorry. I get asked all the time about speed in corners but I'm never paying attention to that stuff. Always concentrating on my line. You only want to go through there fast enough to wash out a car width or two, then back on the gas for the apex. You want to diamond that corner.

I have a hard time with that corner I can't did the line there everywhere else is great. Best lap with your tune so far 1:40.189

Last night I hit a 1:39.453 with your tune but that was with draft. I still wish I could see you drive the car. You scary fast.

I sent you a FR yesterday. When I get your reply I will send you the Wedsport to look at. I'm OK if you want to look at it for road courses or Daytona SS. I have 1 race at Daytona and multiple races at road courses.

I'm OK with either, I'm just kind of curious to see what you can do with Daytona.

Knowing that I have an event coming up and usually not having any time to look for a tune and then test them for the best one. But to be able to send a car to someone and getting it back already set up for a specific track or type of track, great idea.

I gave R1600 a car and he had it back within hours was amazing. I do have one question though, did you test this offline because I can't even come close to your time.

I will use your services again and in the meantime what would you like for payment, I have quite a few tickets and some gear but I can get my hands on just about anything.

Remember he's an alien he set an amazing time in my car but I can come anywhere within a second of his time.
