Mid Powered Skylines

I was bored so I bought/won the three following models:

Skyline 280 special edition
Nismo 400 R
Tommy Kaira R 99 model

I have to say I'm not a Skyliner by nature but I was pleasantly surprised.

I made sure I kept these just under 591HP (more races available) and had a go @ midfield. The three of them seem to be very close but my fav is the 280. The racing mod is simply fab, too bad you can't get more than 551 Hp with this one. I can't believe I never noticed it before...

Have you guys some other rare/weird versions of Skylines in your arsenal? And is the LM road car worth the price tag?

give the '87 turbo a crack. with a race mod it is sweet and i think goes up somewhere around 420ish hp. Will take that midfield race in its stride - it is that good a handler

I only have an R32 GT-R Nismo, stock Nismo 400r (best stock) and 2 71' skylines. I'm going to buy an R30 and the tommikaira tuned R32 GT-ST (cant remember the TK name for it).

Imagine if you will, a 820,000Cr fully-modded '96 Grand Sport Corvette.

Save your money, unless you're in love with the looks. The Nismo R33 LM handled sweetly in GT1, PD stuffed it up in GT2. I'm curious what it can do in GT3, but I'm not even close to unlocking it yet.

i have every single skyline you cna get in the game and i'd have to say that the 280 mr, r33 gt-r v-spec and the r32 gt-r and v-spec II are the best skylines.. and the r34 gt turbo is the best drift skyline... any one think different?

I think the R34 V-Spec and the Unisia Jecs are the best skylines, although apparently the r30 and R31's are apparently really good.

Don't you think that it's a bit tedious havign so many pirze skylines, though?

GT2 knows nothing of tediousness.
Having a million cars is just the point.

I'm disagreeing with the guy above you joey, the race skylines are the best, but they're also the cheapest (racing wise)

not at all tedious having so many cars. most of my cars i have two of so i can have them set for different tracks. i have an r34 set up just for test course. 280, r32 and r33 set for tight tracks. r34, r33 ,r32, r30 race car all set for different sprint tracks an so on... we all play the game different... and i have to spend the money somehow..

I love the R30 Skyline Sihlouette. It's got that funky oldschool look about it.

Sihoulette is damn fast. And I think the LM Skyline is just for looks.
