Welcome to the league, we have varied skill levels here, so I'm sure you'll have someone to do battle with ;)

I'll have another stab at getting the NSX up on the podium this season in the #08 ARTA NSX '06, I have a feeling the YellowHat GT-R is gonna be tough to catch!!
 
If he picks the Yellowhat Supra it's gonna be awkward for me.:P
Would be happy to see the Yellowhat Supra on the podium though.

My NSX in offline testing has braking oversteer and Im not as "comfortable" in it as I am with the Boshuter's setup on the Yellowhat Supra.I don't feel like I could do 30+ laps with it in that state.

I'm using my NSX setup from a long time ago with some changes made.
It rides perfectly, well for me, at least. I managed a 1:56 in Suzuka while doing a 5 lap race today.

EDIT: Offline physics.

Boshuter is a guy who was running with us in season 1 using the nsx. Maybe he gave his setup to someone else. He gave up and there is no news about him in season 2.
 
I am mostly comfortable with the NSX now,but it the mid corner understeer is irritating because it's wearing the fronts faster than the rears which is rare for me.

Added you Skeng,sorry for taking so long as I lost my controller,turns out it's under the darn laptop LOL.
 
For all you new members to the league remember that the races are run at midnight uk time which i believe is about 7 pm in usa , well new york time i think thats eastern , anyways im sure you guys have figured that out already .

soopa was gracious enough to share with me his setup for the monza race and i realized what i was doing wrong with my nsx last season , since im driving a gtr this season i think i should be a lot more competitive

we shall see on friday night :)
 
Look forward to battling with you like at Indy,it was like your NSX entered corners faster but my Supra had better traction.Was really fun!

Soopa: please note your new thread still lists ABS as allowed. I know you mentioned in a post that it would be disallowed this season but your intro still shows it as allowed.:)

You don't like the Supra then ;)

ABS is allowed, its TCS that has gone, I would like to remove ABS as well but concerned about it being too much for beginners ;)

You're in but I'm afraid the Takata NSX was already gone, you'll be driving the #35 YellowHat YMS Supra '05

I love the Supras but wanted to try the car that I thought was the biggest challenge. I think the unanimous opinion on that is the SC430.

If it is truly handicapped then maybe I can use strategy and patience to see my way to the podium.

Good for you, allascato proved it can compete but I think a championship podium is a tall order, I think allascato is gonna be tough to beat in a GT-R but I guess we'll see soon enough. I was tempted by the Supra myself but didn't have a chance to test drive it, would've definitely taken the TOM's but it was snatched up before I got there, I find the NSX a challenging but enjoyable drive so it was hard to turn down the last one left ;)

Thanks Soopa for this kind words, but I think Garage_father will still be the man to beat. Let me tell you that a Bandai Direzza with a good setup in the right hands can be a killer-car as I saw in another league. It's very driveable and good in fast turns, tyre wear can also be good and it has only a little lack in power compared with GT-R and NSX.

Garage_father is definitely faster then me and knowing his skill I'm sure he will fight for the podium in every single race. :nervous:
