Might try to make a game

For the past year or so I've been toying with the idea of making a simple, top-down racing game about the Amelia Island Concours D'Elegance turning into a racing competition for all the show cars. I realize this would not be easy, and I wouldn't really know where to start about making it into an actual playable game, but I have spent some time creating assets whenever I was bored in case this ever does come to fruition. I wanted a car list that not only includes racing game staples (Corvettes, Countach, F40, etc) but also bunches of rare or obscure cars that have rarely or never been playable in games before, such as pre-WWII cars or '50s concept cars. Because the game would be 2D, I could potentially make any car I want by myself in a short time (The longest time I worked on a single graphic was probably less than 3 hours), and make a lot of them. In the end I'm aiming for about 200 cars, nothing after year 2000 as to avoid padding the list with all the newest hypercars. And even if the game never becomes a reality, I'll still have these graphics that could be used for other things.

These are 55 of the 200 or so cars I have planned, so I still have a long way to go, even on the easy front of drawing these. If I were to ever try and make it into a full game, I can't imagine the progress being quick.

Can't say I know anything about video game making but as a table top game inventor I commend you on your plan view artwork. Those are quiet nice.
