Mini SNES (29/9)

This includes an additional controller which explains having slightly less games.

General selection looks better too! 👍

Can't wait for Nintendo to cock up supply like they did the NES Classic because Nintendo can do **** all when it comes to supply and demand.

Happy that Australia is getting the European version, looks way cooler. Nice to see that they've included a second controller too.

Excited. But I'd be more excited if you know, I could actually buy one off the shelf this time instead of being scalped.

Two controllers is nice, but are the cords also just 4 inches long again?

According to an article I just read, the cords are two feet longer than the originals.

I'm really hoping I can pre-order two once that's an option in Canada. One for myself, and one for my sister as a Christmas gift. I didn't even know the NES Classic was discontinued until I read it today!

They've made it tougher this time, because I've been able to play 20 of these games legally or illegally across a half dozen devices over the past 20 years, and the 21st in an unofficial patched form...but to have this "official" Star Fox 2 in a convenient and collectable box that would allow @Mrs Wolfe and me to plug in and play Kirby Super Star or Secret of Mana together on authentic SNES controllers? And it'll be released the day before my birthday? Very tempting.

21 Games seems a little bit light this time. :indiff:
But a good portion of the ones on the NES Mini were practically worthless. This is a much better mix of greatest hits over the entire system's life, even if it is missing some noticeable stuff (ignoring Chrono Trigger, which Square would never let Nintendo just dump into a compilation); with the only thing near a stinker being Street Fighter II.

Might end up just camping out early, as GameStop is apparently not allowing pre-orders and I doubt I'll be able to use my preferred choice as of late (Best Buy).

Will update once I check in with my local GameStop.

I would like to have one of these, Super NES was my favorite Nintendo, but I'm sure they will all be gone in about 2.5 minutes. Or, like the switch, you'll have people snatching up ten a piece, then selling them for $350 on Amazon.

I can't understand why Nintendo does everything backwards or half-assed. It would be so much simpler if they just had a way to buy these games on your switch, which I got tired of waiting for and decided to get a 4k tv and order the Xbox1X.
