missing cars from arcade mode?

hey guys, i just got gt4 ( yes i know i am slow) but i was a little uncertain as to whether to get a true driving game. however, what evetually got me to buy it was the abundant cars you could drive in the game. however, as i got it was kinda disappointed in the end when in arcade mode there were only 200+ cars available... and that a few of the cars i was hoping to drive were missing.. e.g. m3 csl and the s15 silvia's from nissan. i notice the latter are availabe from the used car section in gt mode.. but as am new at the game.. its taking me a while to get through it. is there anyway to unlock the cars for arcade mode or is the game jus such that not all the cars are available.?

Sorry man, only way to get them in Arcade mode is to buy them in Simulation mode first, then you can nab whatever color of it there is in-game, 0 miles, in Arcade mode.

EDIT: Well, of course, you could use a cheat device, but that takes all the fun out of it. (And in that case, even so, you'd need a device that supports save importing/exporting, IE AR-Max, as the "all cars" codes don't unlock them in Arcade mode for odd reasons.)

hmm so you mean that if i purchase the car in gt mode.. i get the stock version of the car in arcade mode.? that is i can choose the colour etc of the car.? having said that.. i need to like get the few dozen versions of the evo just to get them all in arcade mode.? T.T omg.. also.. there is no way of changing the colour of the 2nd hand car or adding decals rite.?

You cant change the colour of any car after you have bought it. And there are no decals in game (except the "tuner village" cars).

Correct - with the exception of the SilEighty, which does still appear in Arcade Mode, but only under the "by era" option.
