the brakes on this car are stupidly strong, so just use that to your advantage and cut up the faster cars. it takes time, but you can easily catch the lead car with decent driving, just try to hold them off on the straights

Very easy and like the posters said above the car has very strong brakes so you can brake much later than the opposing cars.. I was able to pass the lead car after the first turn of the second lap.

This mission was pretty easy. I was able to beat it my first try and was in the lead since about half way through lap two. Maybe it just seemed easy as I love that track and know it well, thus understanding what I had to do. Anywho, good luck to anyone having trouble with this one.

I just randomly tried this mission after fiddling with 11 for a year, and almost beat it right away.

Did they take those brakes from a JGTC Skyline or what? O.o

This one took even me only a few tries. It's the last in its set, and I think it's supposed to be sort of a reward for struggling through all the preceding nine.

(Which I haven't done yet . . . )

quite an easy mission. took one try only. but i overtook the leading car at the corner bfore the last. so quite a scare. this car's brake are superbly strong compared to the others even though they have faster speed so jus try to outbrake them and block them on the straights

I don't think the brakes are really that strong, it's just that the car never really goes very fast - it's a bit like the license test you do round this circuit in a Mini, where you hardly ever have to touch the brakes. If you're used to slamming something with 600hp around, then yeah, the brakes on something which barely makes it past 100mph on the back straight probably WILL seem strong :). and of course you're on racing tyres, which always stop faster than regular tyres (as discussed elsewhere in these forum, how good your tyres are is the #1 factor in how well the car brakes, as long as it doesn't have really terrible brakes in the first place).

MISSION 20

Here's a map of the circuit for this mission, with the gears listed for each corner, and brake zones in yellow.

Keys:
-Dive deep into corners. This car stops on a dime, so use that to your advantage.
-On the long straight, try to keep other cars behind you.

Disclaimer: This is how I drive the mission. I have a conservative, smooth driving style, so your braking tendencies may not match, but it should give you some idea of where to brake, and how much. Throttle-lifts are NOT shown, but it's not hard to figure out when you should lift. The time reference is for the NTSC version only.
