Mitsubishi is still working the bugs out of this model. I mean, they're almost labeling it a concept car, with all the new features they're trying to test out. The EVO 7 will come out on top in time, my unbelieving friend.

The troubles with Mitsubishi started last year, before he left. I'm sure one of the reasons he moved was because of the iffy reliabilty of the Evo7 WRC. Of course, the open 1st driver's seat at Subaru (with Burns skedaddling to Peugeot) and the money that came with it was a good lure, too.

Have you seen the Nissan Murano? I thought it was a joke concept when I heard about it -- a month later, it was on the street. It is literally horrible-looking.

I totally agree, especially the grille!!! Ugh!

The Endeavor looks like a overly stupid designed Outlander, in fact, if I import the JDM Airtrek Turbo-R, I would get more attention than the underpowered Outlander (in fact I got 200+HP on my Airtrek).

Actually, the Outlander fits in nicely up against the Forester. It's pretty good-looking, too.

The Forester would laugh away against the Outlander c'on its way underpowered. Car and Driver said that the Outlander has the worst power-to-weight ratio of any vehicle on the road today.

Ick. Just 140 horsepower? How can Mitsubishi be so cruel? It definitely needs at least 40 more horsepower.

Yes, but always remember the DSM rule of thumb: DSM turbo+AWD=money pit. That is if you modify it... stock it really isn't a bad car, but modifying it is horrible. Small turbos, weak fuel system, and a champagne glass tranny. And they weigh a good deal and cost a pretty penny for a used car.

Oh and to those of you talking about Evo's and such... doesn't anyone think the new Evo looks a bit ugly? What did they do to the grill? Looks like someone took to it with a hacksaw And I'm not a huge fan of the clearish, "altezza style" lights that they put on the rear end. But enough being negative... it's fast (4g63 power baby) and I would still not question it if anyone through one in my direction
