Heres a few lap times from last nights practice. Richyboy was the fastest at Eiger with a 1:15.847, with Jamesybograt only 1/10th of a second shy of his time. At Eiger reverse it was Jamesys turn with a 1:17.696 closely followed by Richyboy. This session was the first real practice I have had at Eiger in the Mini, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the way the car goes around this track. There were no problems getting up the windy hill on reverse, unless like Jamesy you get stuck on a fence post. The races on Saturday are going to be epic, Start your engines gentlemen, and ladies for the PENULTIMATE MINI MADNESS!!!

Really hoping to make it as Eiger is sure to be madness, and it's one of my favourite tracks.

Who is ready for the challenge of Eiger in the Mini Coopers? With it looking like another fairly full grid, just imagine the sight of all those Minis at the jump. Tuesday practice had 5 of us in the air, so with a lot more on track it going to be MADNESS!!

I had a quick practice lastnight, best I could manage was a 1.17.2XX! Well off the pace. How you guys are getting in to the 1.15's is beyond me! Tried all different set ups but just couldn't get it any quicker :S

As there are a lot of drivers registered for tonights Mini Madness, I will open the room earlier than advertised. The room will open at 8.00pm. Dont forget to reboot PS3's, set clock to internet and clear PS3 cache before entering the room. Dowlin and m_p1998 have confirmed they wont be racing, and I have not heard from Senor_bolsa, so there is one free grid spot at the moment.

Finally got a chance to put a few laps in at Eiger. Couple of real tricky corners and easy to burn up the tires but the car is pretty good there. Going to be tough to pass but should be a fun race.👍

Madness it was at Eiger. 11 racers took to the Alps, and it was a bit dicey here and there. Big congratulations to Richyboy for his first time on the wall of fame , and to Johnnypenso for his second.

I should've never popped in for that practice Tuesday night. I have to say this one was much more fun, although I really ought to have run some practice laps around Eiger reverse.

First eve was pretty uneventful and a 4th place for me, I was on Jamesy's tail for the last part of the race but couldn't get past, just not enough in the tyres and the last two laps were a struggle not to crash into him under braking. Great little end.

Second race, terrible start not enough revs and it bogged down and there were cara everywhere - no space to go anywhere. As I came into the tunnel there was smoke, and then there was a bright pink car sideways. I hit him at about 130kph and that started the chain reaction. Took massive damage and the car didn't work so well for the next short while.

However once I get back to racing I tucked in behind Richy and we traded places a few times before catching up. Enjoyed the second race more because I had so much catching up to do. Had to fight the instinct to push and kill the tyres.

Can't wait for the next one - my mini's almost broken in!

Here are the pictures from last nights Mini Madness. After viewing the replay and witnessing the massive accident in race 2 at the tunnel entrance, I am pleased that I managed to avoid the incident. The crash does feature in a lot of the pictures, as it took out a lot of drivers. Also, I think that I may have run nichols120 a bit wide at the first turn after the tunnel incident. He went off the road, and into the fence. If it was my fault, then I apologize. I hope you all enjoyed the event as much as I did, and I hope you will join the Mini Madness Grand Finale.

Airborne on the first lap

Turn 1 and the pack is tight

through the hairpins

Richy pulling out an early lead

But getting pushed back into second

The rest of the pack are still tight

Until a couple of cars go wide at the end of lap 1

The jump gets higher with more speed

Third_reign and Trotterlover battle it out in the midfield

Geordie's Mini needs a wash

Richyboy takes the flag, and gets his name on the wall of fame

Wiggy managed to get a better start than Third_reign

With the rest of the pack in a tight squeeze

But Wiggys early lead was short lived

And complete carnage was caused in a massive accident at the tunnel entrance

I wouldnt want to be driving into that

There were many casualty's

Mini's everywhere

Trotterlover picks his way through the mess

But not everyone is pointing the right way

Those who managed to avoid the crash are away

Jamesy emerges from the tunnel after the carnage

But is well away from the front runners

Wiggy and Jamesy's Mini's look battered and broken

Mini Madness has seen us race through Europe....Monaco, Madrid, London, Rome, before making our escape through the Swiss Alps of Eiger. All of this action hasnt gone unnoticed, and now the world circuits want a piece of MADNESS. For the final installment of MINI MADNESS we are being flown to Japan, to race our mighty cars at 2 real life race circuits. Suzuka East and Tsukuba are the venues for the GRAND FINALE of MINI MADNESS.

Congratulations to Richy, he ran a flawless first race. Got out in front and built up a small gap as James and I battled it out for second. After several laps of very close clean bumper to bumper racing, James went wide and I slipped by on the inside and the chase was on. Every time I closed the gap a smidgen I made a small mistake and gave it all back because Richy didn't make any mistakes. Good show Richy:tup:👍

Second race I got extremely lucky to make it through the tunnel almost unscathed (one very close call) although I did have a small shunt with James right off the start that I didn't realize until I saw the replay. I have since apologized to James for that, had I realized it at the time I would have moved over for him as I try to follow the GTPlanet Rules at all times.

All in all it's a fun little car and a good group of fellas to race with, I highly recommend it for anyone having a peak at the thread!!

Don't worry about it mate. Once i found which button was revese on my wheel i enjoyed trying to catch whoever was infront of me. Managed to get past 2 people which cheered me up a bit
