During reading official GT6 manual in russian language at http://www.gran-turismo.com/ru/gt6/manual/ I noticed on some screenshots that user has more money than 20'000'000.

Btw, versions of web manuals in other languages have another screenshots.

So, what do you think?
1. These shots were made with "developer" account or mode during development process just for testing
2. >20 mil. is an unlock which will be accessible later during game
3. other thoughts?

I didn't think they had a cap for GT6? That wouldn't be smart to have one, especially with the whole "micro-transactions" deal. There's no way they'll cap credits (except for an insane amount) and miss out on some extra money.

Has anyone actually seen the 20 million credits cap? As it seems to be rather low payouts for races, has anyone been able to reach 20 millions already?

All I've seen is "it's been confirmed that it's still there", but I must have missed the person who actually confirmed it.

Would be nice to have something more substantial to go on than "it's been proven that it's there, because it's been proven that it's there".

There was screenshot and mentions that on v.1.00 there's money cap 20 mil....save file was hacked to demonstrate it, if I'm right

Maybe since the update, they've removed it? I doesn't make sense to have a cap when credits can be bought, especially if there's no "max credit" buying option.

We'll have to wait a bit to see if anyone reaches it - or not.

I have never seen any problems with the max amout of credits, which was 20,000,000, and don't see what's the fuzz about it again... The most expensive car is 20,000,000, so you never need more than 20 mil, and there are plenty of cars to buy (in different colors ass well) so start buying cars and please stop the discussion on a max amount of credits...

I think the only real reason for the $20M in GT5 was to be able to receive the penniless trophy when purchasing a $20M car. If the most expensive car in GT6 is still $20M then I would think the same credit cap would exist.

The problem is that GT4 allowed for four trillion credits, and each new version should take things to the next level, not go backwards.

Having no credits limitation, would, I don't know, allow the purchase of multiple cars, including the most expensive ones, in one go ? To buy all the gears instead of just the ones that "can be afforded for now" ? To purchase all tyre compounds available in the game for all the cars in one's stockyard, instead of handpicking between which ones will get the tyres and which ones won't/will get them later on ?

Not to mention that no racing driver in real life STOPS making money when they get to twenty millions.

Agreed, made sense for the trophy on GT5, which would had been virtually impossible to get otherwise if a lot more money was possible to be earned. I got it straight away though, by buying karts. At 5k each, four do the trick. Alas, the cap should be eliminated now, and it should have been eliminated from GT5 as well in my opinion. The title becomes an "endless grinding" this or that event, usually a specific seasonal event.

The cap is 50,000,000 credits.

Really?

There's this image...

But remembering what you have posted earlier in the GT5 days, I would put some money on your affirmation

SpartanUK, Your info has been solid as long as I can remember. You are absolutely right the 1.01 credit limit is raised. To erase any doubt from your assertion, here is a visual confirmation. Oh yeah, and cheers mate.

Even though there's still a cap, I think 50 million is a lot better than 20 million. I haven't even run across a car that costs 20 mil yet, and on top of that, EVERY version of the X1 is now only 6 million credits!!! Maybe PD will continue to raise the cap in future updates?

Ford GT40, Ferrari 330 P4, and Jaguar XJ13 are 20mil and those are the only cars I've seen above 10mil credits
