or this:

That M3 GTR and Skyline GT-R are awfully inexpensive for a "money no object" thread, aren't they? I'm sure trangurismo could afford both, even showroom models like those. However, being a Japanese car, the R34 is surprisingly small. He might not be able to fit without bumping his head.

I think that M3's been in an accident, too. Check out the panel gap on that passenger door.

I don't think the value is relevant really. Personally if I had money in my pocket to burn, I'd by the best condition 240Z that I could get my hands on. Certainly would not be in the $$ vicinity of most of the models on this page, but I've driven one before and absolutely love the feel of it.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on that BMW or Nissan. :D Unfortunately, neither of them would be legal to drive on the roads here. I wouldn't be able to drive them at all. Looking at it again, I'm not sure the Skyline's doors would even open.

Still, it might be fun to build and paint them...

:P

Assuming that since we have the cash to buy literally any car we wanted, we have other cars to use as our daily drivers, I would probably buy a Koenigsegg Agera in white/blue. Now if we had an unlimited amount of cash to spend on a car and that be our one and only car, my choice would be much different. In that case, I would probably buy a Mercedes Benz E63 AMG. It's the perfect mix of brute force and daily drivability. I can haul groceries or I can haul ass. Or I could haul ass while hauling groceries :)

Spoon K20 EK9 Civic - My favourite car ! And you can buy a complete one from spoon but its around £27000 - its a dedicated track car and has around 260bhp all natural no blower.

Money no object.. hmm.. I think I'd settle for a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Black Edition, which is coming in 2012 :) Matt black, black rims, black everything, no markings.. wet dream material :D

I'd like to change my answer:

The sound is just incredible, and it's got comfort to go with the performance.

And it's sexy.

I would have posted a video of it for the sound, but all of the ones I found on YouTube are either really, really poor quality, have background noises, or have music over them.

I have a soft spot for streetlegal race cars, so besides the AMG CLK GTR, this:

Having those 2, would be the most awesome pair EVER.

I've always loved the sound of the SLR, but I would have something else which combines comfort and performance:

You know, I would actually be torn between the V12 Vantage and the Wiesmann GT MF5 (plus I love V10 engines):

If money was no object I'd have a very tough time deciding between this:

or this:

I know they aren't super expensive, although the Morgan is up there, or the fastest but I just think are both so cool that I'd really be ok owning one or the other for the rest of my life.

If money were no object... It'd be this baby.

2002 Dodge Viper GTS Final Edition. Well, that or a '96~'02 Viper GTS. But if it were in Viper Red Clearcoat and sporting white stripes, I'd be more than happy.
