I've had these problems the past few days. That, and I cannot buy new streets on three of my accounts. The game just freezes up. What do I do now? I guess I could buy streets from accounts that can purchase new streets, but I don't know if the others can purchase new streets. I guess I have to start new accounts, buy a 3 million dollar road and buy it the following day with accounts that are frozen.
In other words, a complete POS PITA game! And remember, I'm only trying to buy Spear buildings and collect my money; that's it! And, I cannot even do that with this POS.

I get freezeups EVERY time I select a building and have done for a few days now. They are all script errors, an error used to come up every time until I said I dont want to see the message. Now, instead of saying it, it freezes the WHOLE computer for 5 seconds until it loads. Before, it locked up the whole lot that I was doing and froze the computer for 5 minutes till I forced it to end.
I got payed 94mil today and could not care less TBH. I just cant be stuffed playing it anymore. It isnt like monopoly at all, monopoly doesnt get boring like this. This is more like a cheaply done Real Estate Tycoon. It doesnt deserve the good name of Monopoly.
Oh, by the way, EA SUCKS.

I'm ditching my (underperforming)main account to battle it out with GALBA1 and his sub account SOLEDADERIKA.
He's hit me eight frigging times, yet, he keeps on missing on some critical bonus buildings I have. He is either little slow upstairs, or he's a some kind of genius with scheme I'm not able to comprehend. If you guys can afford to, join me on this!

I wish I could, but I'm dead in the water. I cannot purchase any new streets on any of my accounts. Every time I search for streets, it freezes and never finds the street, even though I know for a fact there's a street there.
I have a few accounts that still have long streets with plenty of room, which is why I'm only purchasing Spear buildings.

I understand. 👍 It's gotta be pretty frustrating though. Even the little slowdowns annoy me quite a bit.
I've been just focusing on his two bigger streets: A-1416 and M-629, but it's a stalemate. I clear his bonus buildings, build hazards, he clears, builts bonus buildings. We've been just going back and forth.

It's not weird. They just do a Google search of our name and find us when they mention their own name. Easy.

I know, I know, before I even made the comment I did a quick search on Google, but unlucky didn't find any results for GTPlanet. That is why I found a bit weird to search and search for pages and pages of cybernetic junk...or am I missing some amazing search function?

Well, since you are being diplomatic(? lol), I apologize for hassling you. Truth is, I decided to stop playing last night, so I don't know if you noticed from my movements, but I liquidated just about everything to obtain demolitions and hazard buildings through the chance cards. I was trying to stop one of the bigger streets, but it did not work, as all it did was stall your growth for a few hours.
I was wondering if you were ever going to leave the computer, as it was something like a three hour marathon. I don't even know how long exactly I went for, because tomorrow(which is today) was my day off, and I was just playing with iTunes, watching TV, eating, surfing the net, etc., as I kept sabotaging.
I stopped finally when I went to bed, but honestly, I had no intention of logging back in, not to that particular account, anyways.
Again, I am sorry galba. Thanks for being a good sport, and don't cyberstalk me, OK?

No, I waged the war on you. But in order to help a fellow gtplanet member who was being heavily attacked by you. I know you have much bigger account, but I don't know how you were able to fire everying so rapidly. I guess you really did need to get something to eat, huh?

It is very random. Sometimes, you'll get one after another, even back-to-back. Then, you could fill a street and a half with green houses, and not see one chance card.
I don't know what I have left on my a6m5 account, but I'll see what I can do. What is your account name?
Edit: I forgot. On my second account(now my main account), I have a demo card.

I discovered an interesting thing about the game building velocity.
Though it is allot quicker now, it takes more time to build in streets where the spacing between buildings is minimum, than street where there is a big space between buildings.
Here is an example:
This one is a typical street that can be found on the United States. The spacing between buildings is minimum, there are 7 buildings in the space of 400px. Though, I took 55 seconds building 5 of these buildings presented in the image. And it is allot faster, since I used to took that time for one or two buildings.
This one is a typical street that can be found all over Europe. The spacing between buildings is big, there are only 4 buildings in a space of 400px. Though, I took 35 seconds building 5 of these buildings. The speed of these streets didn't change much, though.
My thoughts about the speed of building a building is either depends on the street type or how far from you, from your initial place that street is. Either way, it seem to be a part of the game strategy.

I always find myself moving my streets so that the area where I want to place my buildings is near the top left of screen. This minimises the mouse movement from the cone, to the 'Ok' button, to the 'Build Property' button.
This past half hour I too have been placing Poly Plazas in around 12 seconds each, where before it would average between 30 and 90 seconds! Things have definately sped up, and I can now buy streets where it would timout before.

Yea! I was finally able to buy a street with one of my accounts. So, I bought two before it crashed again. Two big ones worth over 12 million each.
