MORD Mini Comps | Next one This Weekend

But what about this?

After having read the debates going on here, and in a few other threads, I think hybrids may have really messed up comps lol. Due to recent developments with hybrids, particularly the ability to add downforce to a car without adding aero parts (and conversely, completely remove downforce from racecars), along with the ability to alter weight and weight distribution, IMHO, there is only two way to have a fair comp:

Just say no chassis swaps.... If someone can't put a race car underneath, no need to work about crazy aero.

Wrong. One who can edit aero can put as much as hex will let him or her.

Race chassis give by far the biggest poke out off all chassis that fit under a certain car. So I'm pretty sure we can make out who uses a race chassis and who doesn't.

By the way:
If I restrict it to non Race chassis only, who would still put one under his car? I couldn't have any fun if I had to ''cheat'' in a comp to be competitive.

I will most likely limit it to streetcar chassis, not to avoid very fast cars mainly but to keep the tandems close and fun. Eddy should be able to have fun too in his Miata.
And as I said maaaany times before, half decent judges can see if the car and not the driver is very fast, so they will consider than when they judge. It's the drivers problem if he pulls away in his lead run but straightens out or hits when he follows.

Well, the Nismo Xavani 350Z fits the 350 well, while my Skyline has a C6 under it and it looks ridiculous....

So either Allow them or not. Limiting it will be really hard.

I'd have to agree. But you have to sign up stating your chassis. Hey can i do car inspections? i wouldnt mind sitting out to do inspections. PM me if you wanna know how i will do it.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't take some minutes to atleast make sure you know them. And there is always something different.
