Name me a decent Korean car? As I can't think of any.

Hyundai Genesis

There is two award winning cars just off the top of my head....

Not gonna happen in the case of the Genesis or Veloster. I'm guessing it would cost a fortune to Hyundai or Kia to convince PD to modelled 2 let alone 3 new Korean cars. Maybe in an eventual gt6.

Would like a Kia Cee'd.

Seconded!

Only because it is the car i drive..... (When GT4 came out i had a Renault Megane 1.6 16v %dr and the game has the 2.0 coupe so that was the closest to my own car at the time)

How asinine is this statement?

The last five or 6 years the cars coming Hyundai and KIA have been outstanding. Hyundai particular has stepped up their last few models pushing design and aesthetics...

And they're only getting better.

I'm up for the Genesis Coupe like some of the folks here. I just love seeing that thing drift around in the commercials.

On the side note, you have to give Korea where credit is due. They are ever increasingly getting better and better as a company. It shows on their design, value, and reliability that comes on their cars recently. It makes me think what Japan (specifically Toyota and Honda) are doing. It seems all they care about is their Camrys/Corollas and Accords/Civics here in the states. Design-wise hasn't been that impressive either. Even with Kia, I'm drawn into the new Kia Optima's design. It looks like an expensive luxury car. I have not really seen any of that for Japan lately in terms of the general consumer's car, let alone a sports car.

I'd only like to see the Genesis. It's the only car I think would make sense in GT, since the Koreans aren't really known for having fast cars..

Concept: Tokyo-Seoul 2002 sold around 10,000 copies. That's not really very popular...

The Korean version of GT4 contained more Korean cars you haven't listed, including the Lexus IS200 GT-1 Race Car '04 (look it up - it's listed as Korean), the Hyundau Tiburon Turbulence '99, the Hyundai Tuscani CCS '03 - all of which made it into GT5 - and the Hyundai Click Type R - which didn't.

I was thinking the same thing you are..

Anywhoo... The reason for PD not to add more into GT5, is mostly because they appeal to the masses, and who begs for a Korean Car over a Lambo or a Mustang.. Factually, there are much better and important cars in the world yet to be added to the game, for PD to worry about.
