What's your favourite car sound?

My favourite would be the GT40, it's unique and combines low rumble with high scream. It's like driving mustang and F1, but at the same time.
The honda sound is my next fav. I like to go fast, shift down a gear, and rev the engine beside the competition. Vrum Vrum.

I agree the GT40 does sound uniqe, its like a F1 hybrid of a mustang lol.

I think Evoultion's downshift sounds nice too, when your coming in at high speeds, then downshifting.

Yep the GT40 sounds excellent, nice deep grunty noise.

My personal favorite is the Lotus Esprit Sport 350, nothing beats the sound of a Twin turbo V8 in the morning.

Hey, check out the Speed 12! This car has a crazy sound. Sounds like a gun mixed with a train or something in the first 3 gears. My advice : check it out!

Dodge Challenger with a racing muffler, computer chip, and port polishing (NO NA tuning) at low revs (just after shifting into 3rd gear with an automatic transmission). That burble is aural utopia.

What I really want in GT2 is the super crazy awesome amazing sound that comes out of a fully tuned prelude, civic, or trueno with racing exhaust in GT1. That sound got me going backwards in test course for ages. I love that sound. It sounds like a robot and F1 mix in one. I can't describe it. If you got GT1 check it out! In GT2, all I got after tuning a prelude or integra was this fart can noise.

2. Cosworth Escort Rally Car - the bass, Man icandigit
3. Mustang Cobra ( year?) fully mod with OEM muffler - the back straight at Road Atlanta, righton!

If anything check out the Cobra Daytona Coupe. This thing sounds like a cross between a tractor and muscle car. Also, the Wiegert W8 sounds amazing. The 3 gear non gearbox modded and non racing muffler sounds best, like a mustang rumbling slowly up to speed. The racing muffler version sounds like frikin F1! I think the missing F1 car in the game is the fully modded W8, handles like one and sounds like one.

i agree about the weigarts, esp. the older model, it seems to handle better and turn quicker laps than the laws of physics should allow, but my favorite sound is the racing GT-40, doesn't it seem like they included a tape loop of a tire rumble sound with it?

Corvette LT1??(the one blue with a white stripe in the middle) tuned to the max, and if you put a close gear ratio, man, that is the best sound I've never heard.

has anybody ever heard the Mistu FTO in real life! I was in England over X-mas, and it sounded badass!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!

This car is a lil pocket rocket that sounds so cool! Its low rpm purr turns suddenly to a muscle growl at around 5-6,ooo rpm. Awesome man.
