Setting aside just quite how damn badass that Rover 45 I posted was, I think the original TVR Speed 12 concept was even more badass than the Cerbera Speed 12 they produced in small numbers:

It wouldn't so much empty your wallet, as steal it and then slit your throat.

Brings back memories of using it in GT2 and TOCA2 as well...

I love the Speed 12. It would come over for a drink, knock up your sister, steal $20 from your wallet and kick your dog on the way out.

Chuck Norris would drive one, if the sight of it hadn't made him soil himself.

From the picture or video? If you watched the video it has a full MOT.

He probably changes them from track to road.

Well yeah, but i just dont see how it claims fastest street legal 1/4 mile if its using drag tires

Good old Falcon GT's. I first saw one at a small shopping centre in a carpark. It looks absolutely evil. A guy appeared fro no where and started it up. It scared the crap outta me. The sound of that V8 sounded brilliant, indescribable. Vid of a similar car.

I'll echo Rick. Lamborghini Diablo SE30 - the single most aggressive-looking car in history and the only car that can pull off purple. By far the most badass car ever made.

Hm when I think badass car, I think the following:

Koenigsegg CCX
Gemballa Mirage (the one with 1000HP)
Ruf CTR "yellowbird"
any modern AMG (CLK63, SL55, SL65, etc.)
Lamborghini Reventon

I'll get the obvious out of the way:

McLaren F1 in whatever variant. Unlike the Veyron, it held the top speed record and had racing heritage.

Up until Bugatti broke that record. It can't "hold" the record when it was clearly broke. Both it and the Veyron's records were broken.

So, for my money, I give you:

There is something about a GNX that just screams badass.

As does this.

Pontiac Trans-Am WS6:

But, my actual #1 is this...

Mercedes-Benz CLK63 Black Series:

I agree, tuner and race cars dont count here, those aren't "production" (but those primer black Porsche and Silvia ARE bad-ass)

So, for my money, I give you:

I dont think there has been a baddest-ass car coming out of Detroit than this thing. Incredibly tunneable, and you know... Darth Vader!!!

Co-sign.

Wasn't there a black-on-black prototype? I can't find pictures =/

What? The McLaren was the fastest production car and won LeMans. The Veyron broke the record, held it briefly and never won any major race.

I dont no what year but the Ford Mustang Fastback GT500 (Eleanor in Gone in 60 Seconds) looked badass to me

It's so easy to do a thread like this... just echo everything else posted:

Ford RS200 E2: Don't think picture is an EVO but you get the point. 0-60 in the 2 second range, well over 600hp

This car was so badass, it ate engines faster than it ate tires. And 600 bhp out of 2 liters? Before the Japanese rally rockets did it? Yeah, baby...

Steal your wallet, your sanity... and... oh... call the chiropractor... my ankle hurts from trying to keep the pedal at 1/100th throttle (any deeper and you risk going sideways...)

Just because it's really pretty and has a really big engine... that's the ultimate in modern badassiness.

I'd like to add something so badass that it predates badass:
thmdeltahfintegraleevoii35ky.jpg

(see? The picture predates 1mbps internet! It's 56k friendly!)

Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione II (ultra-long model names! One of the first!)

This car was one of the original blue-collar heroes... totally gonzo for something so boring-looking... My younger days were spent watching this thing go sideways on TV... :)

Lotus Carlton

Maybe it's been said... but what the heck... It's a pretty interesting car... bespoke engine, so it's $$$ to fix... bespoke ECU, so it's impossible to replace when you accidentally fry one trying to "rechip" it... and a speed limiter (or lack thereof) so ridiculous that bank robbers would likely shoot you in the head to steal your car for the getaway. Truly badass. If it weren't for product placement bullcrap, the Transporter would drive this car. In both movies. And they would have been 100 times better as a result.

Fail,Veyron didnt hold any "record" as nothing was independly verified.

Epic fail, yes they are its the nature of the championship in which the car races, the rear tyres are road legal too and have thread.
