What 5 questions would you want answered if we had like 10 min with Kaz?
(questions about when GT6 and if more Nissans will be coming is not allowed)

If more have the same questions the write them down the same, perhaps we eill have top 5 after a while and we tweet him this link to him :)
If this thread is out of line then delete.

My questions would be:

1: Is better/more realistic sound planned for GT5?
2: Is it possible to simplify tuning?
3: Is the AI gonna get more competitive in GT5?
4: When can we see Porsche in GT5 or GT6?
5: Some plans on how to get online experience even better?

Another ineteresting questions could be...
Some plans to open a new PD office on EU or US?
Is it possible to bring back all those "Nostalgic" tracks within GT5 lifespan?

Good questions. But.
2: Is it possible to simplify tuning?

NOOOOOOO, please hell NO! They already made it too simple! We miss some stuff from previous GT games, the ability to buy NA tuning parts independently etc.

Please. They need to make it bigger and less "simple"... I want to adjust my powerband with the ECU, I want to adjust my fuel mixture, cam specifications and all that. Tuning on GT5 is too simple :nervous:

I like the way you think my friend specially on when Porsche will make act of presence on the series, I have been waiting to see the brand since GT3...

Another question/recommendation is that, if he plan to create more A-Spec Events for GT5, For Endurance Races would be a great experience to see at least two class of categories such as in real life, where you see compiting the Le Mans Prototypes (Audi, Peugeots, Mazda, Toyota...) running and the same time the GT class (Corvettes, Porsches, Ferraris, BMWs,etc..) would be great if you can race on one category and if you win on your class you win the race and then you can re-enter and compete in the other category, so you can make the race twice with GT class and LM Prototypes...I think is a good experience since you can enjoy the race on two perspective and also give you the idea on how the real drivers feel when they are concentrate on racing and then looking at the mirrors so they can avoid faster or slower cars...

1) Will there be a such things as Standard Cars in GT6?
2) Will most Standards in this game be either cut from GT6 or be made Premium?
3) Will NASCAR, F1, and other licensed events be returning?
4) Will Course Creator Return?
5) Will there be engine swaps? Like swapping an NSX engine into a Civic?

1) will there be better custom sorting options in garage (ie putting certain cars in certain folders to allow you to look at yourecars how you want to )
2) are you going to improve online waiting times and the general online aspect of the game

Totally agree

An option to select car at race start screen!!!!!!!!¡

If he will ever improve force feedback in the G25 + G27 racing wheels. Probably one of the most important GT5 questions that he needs to answer (for me at the moment).

Oil change from tuning menu?

👍

If that were done at an early update, then I'd have around 4 hours of my life back.

Stupid oil change. It's such a time waster. Ultimate troll.

Here is a simple question for Kaz: Do you consider the GT series to be in direct competition with Forza?

NOTE: The answer to this question would shed light on just more than the 2 racing sims, it would clearly confirm that there IS a platform battle between Microsoft and Sony sales as well. Since both sims are NOT cross-platform, it would expose Kaz's committment (positively or negatively) regarding GT's scope.

I'd love the option to copy tunes to different cars not only between the single car.

Like others mentioned, oil change from start race screen would be nice.

More tuning/parts options.

Lastly I'd ask if other tracks would appear in GT5.

Why the hell would you want simpler tuning? If anything we need it to be more sophisticated. If you can't be bothered to tune your cars go play NFS.

Oh dear. I agree that there's no need for tuning to be simplified, but what does NFS have anything to do with "More wanted answers from pd/kaz"?

He said he wanted simpler tuning. I told him to play NFS then since NFS's tuning isn't that great, if any of them even have tuning anymore. We want more sophisticated stuff. Not simpler.

I'd ask him when the hell we're getting that improved customisation that he promised GT5 would have.

Unless of course paint chips was his idea of improved customisation.

If I was Kaz, my answers would be:

1. No. Wait till 6 or get better speakers.
2. Yes, but it's up to you to simplify. Can't get more simple than stock.
3. Only online. Offline will remain same as usual. Wait for 6.
4. When you pay for the license, cuz we aren't.
5. Yes, but for 6.

1. You'll see
2. Me, personally, no. The game? You'll see.

1. Will leaderboards ever be properly implemented (i.e. not just 4 per month that are rotated)in GT5?

2. Will Gt6 be on the Ps3?

3. Do you love skylines in an un-natural way?

4. Could you fire that solitary, lazy AI coder you guys have had since Gt1?
or at least send him on a training course or something. Its not the 90's anymore Kaz, It's embarassing :)

5. Could you please add the quickplay matchmaking option from GT5P's online?
some of us just don't have the time to search through room after room of mis-titled lobbies, to eventually (hopefully) finally find a decent lobby.

And the dude who does the SFX, while you're at it.

1. How were the limits decided? (2000 car limit, 7000 item limit) Can these limits be raised/removed? If not can we at least have the ability to turn off daily login bonus?

2. Why can't museum cards be deleted.

3. How come the TH8rs the official shifter of GT5 is not supported? (button mapping/sequential mode)

4. How come the clutch has to be fully pressed in to engage the gear? Can this be adjusted?

5. How come rolling starts? What was the reason for this change?

What would I ask. Let me see...

Why are physics different in A-Spec, Private lobby and online modes?

Why are there 16 cars in Arcade, 12 in A-Spec and 8 in Practice races.

Why can I have damage, real tyre grip, fuel use and tyre wear in Arcade and Practice but not in A-Spec (Endurance excepted for fuel and tyres use)?

Why can't everything be the same across all modes?

Why is the AI such a push over? I can see why in Beginner hall but Expert hall?

Can we have an Event Editor so we can make our own events, halls and A-spec modes, upload them for others to use, download other peoples so we can try out each others ideas for A-Spec? You know, as in Create, Share and play.

Not "simpler" tuning, but maybe some help with how to.
I do not think that tuning needs to be simplified in the sense that there should be less of it. But maybe better explanations or perhaps a tutorial of some sort for those of us that are not so familiar with auto mechanics.
I am no expert at the technicalities of auto tuning, and I find that the on screen help of specific aspects of tuning do not really do as much as they could. I am not asking PD to tune my car for me, but when I click on that yellow question mark for assistance, the help screen sometimes contradicts the reality of how my car is affected.

1. Why do the Ferrari F1 cars have odd transmissions, especially since they were nearly spot-on in Prologue?
2. For "The Real Driving Simulator", where us H-pattern users are intentionally nerfed, why don't you simply allow the DS3 users a clutch, and let us shift realistically as well?
3. We already know the Murcielago's, Pagani Zonda R, and other examples of V12's sound like V10's. When will you put more effort into the sounds?
4. Why do certain cars have functioning redline indicators, while others don't?
5. Will you emphasize less on B-spec, and more on A-spec?
