Those 2 crashes are rather old, @rono_thomas... :odd:

Talking about old stuff, here is one of the craziest races I have ever seen: the 1979 Around Australia Reliability Trial sponsored by Repco. A 2-week race with stages so long most/all cars had 3 or even 4 occupants. Vehicles had to be 2-wheel-drive and had to be almost unmodified. Participans went from touring car legend Peter Brock to desert racing specialist Shekthar Mehta to the freaking sports director of Ford Australia. This is both an OMG race and a WTF were they thinking kind of event, some sectors were absolute nightmares!

Despite claiming 9 Bathurst endurance races, 3 Australian Championships & anything else worth winning in a touring car, Peter Brock rated the Repco Trial victory as his proudest achievement.

Amazed that Biante or Classic Carlectables (or any other company) haven't produced a scale model of that VB yet. Virtually every other car Brock drove throughout his career have been done.
