It is a good idea to stick with IE - preferrably 6. It is the most compatible browser with internet standards these days.
 
I dunno, IE is just bloated I have 1 IE window open at the moment and it's memory usage is 23mb. Just for one window.

I dunno much about opera, but i'd say mozilla mainly because it being the thing that spawned netscape (well kinda), how big is the download on mozilla anyway? I might give it a try.
 
I use Mozilla on my 200mhz computer, when it's either running RedHat or Slackware. I'm still trying to figure out which OS will run best on my computer, I'm leaning toward Slackware for right now....
 
i think that Opera is probably the better bet for ultimate standards-compliance. That is its raison d'etre after all.
 
Well, i'm using the Win32 version of Mozilla 1.3.1 and it's not arf bad. I'll give it a go untill I find some annoyance. Mind you it seems to have a built in popup stopper.
