MP3's?

one thing that bothers me is when people mis-name files onpurpose. I hate that. I think im downloading something and then when it is done it turns out to be something tottaly different

oh yeah, that's happened to me as well.

another thing that annoys me is sometimes, the filename and desciption are totally different and you don't know what it is.

yep, there are definatly some bad things about ANY P2P file sharing system

i know, but it sure beats looking for musci on the internet. half the time you get files you can't play...even when you rename the file extension to .mp3

I never had that problem with people renaming files to fool people. But, one problem I hate, especially on kazza, people are sharing games that are not finished. For example, one file doesn't have any sound with the game, or they leave out the manual.

WinMX, I don't know why, doesn't have that. Most of the files shared are full CD copies.

I'm just gonna try WinMX...and Rumple, try downloading Ad-Ware and seeing whats on your computer, KaZaA has 2 or 3 trojans in it which can meess up your system for good. And if you have an overclocked system its a little more vulnerable. But I don't if you do or not.

yeah, one problem, if you delete these programs kazaa will not run. just get kazaa lite, its the safe version of Kazaa, plus it comes with some speed up file that supposed to make it go faster or something.

And it will stop you from getting online...it deletes ALL your cookies and all that stuff so IE can't open the search page.

kazaa! no it doesn't, it just makes IE run slower cuz it uses heaps of your available bandwidth (or some **** like that)

i allready have ad-aware, but you cant delete Kazaa's trojans because it will not work propoperly

thats what it is SUPPOSED to do. It is supposed to use ALL your bandwith to help you get those downloads as quick as possible.

ok...i finally broke down and got WinMX again last night.i have to admit.i do like it but i still like IMESh a weeeeeeee bit better.

yeah, and WinMX doesn't do that. You can sit there downloading an mp3 twice as long as you would on kazaa.
