MRs and spinning out

Is there a secret to not spinning out a MR car? When I race, I put a little slide into the turn and when I get back on the gas the backend comes out on me. Too early on the gas???:banghead:
I don't think the [R]Gt40 should be that unforgiving.
I figured I would have more problems with that with a FR than MR car. Any help is appreciated.

You want the spring rates higher in front and then the front slightly higher ride ht, than the rear.
That ought to do for a start.
I set my spring rates at 9.0/6.0 to start and play with them from there.

Perhaps you should try playing with the stabilisers - if they're hard you'll get less body roll, and you'll bounce over kerbs more, if they're soft, vice-versa.

You want soft stabilisers here, so you'll have more of a slide window to work with.

If the car is race modded, set the front downforce less than rear. Consider the following:
Since the front wheels would most definately lose traction during a turn before the rear, the car would understear because less of the front wheels would be on the ground to steer the car. If the rear wheels are on the ground, they would not spin out.

DID YOU KNOW THAT:

Putting Super soft slicks in the rear wheels and medium slicks up front would definately reduce oversteer and spinouts. Try putting softs or hard up front as well.

NOW YOU KNOW!!!!!

Every mid engined car ever made has a certain amount of sudden tail snap out. That is a fact, even Ferraris and especially Venturis.
With the GT40's I've never had a problem, especially not with the Race Car.
It's just a matter of counter steering.

Don't let the rear loose grip. MRs are great practice fore keeping a nice, smooth, grip line. You'll think your going slower through the corner but when you get back on the gas you'll see.

Not sure if these calues are correct, since pulling them from Lister Storm settings.
19/15 Spring Rate
120/100 Ride Height
9/9 D. Bound
10/10 D Rebound
2/1 Camber
.1/.1 Toe
3/3 Stabilizier
.7/.9 Downforce

Of course then we still have LSD and ASCS, TCSC.
