Not in my possession quite yet as I still have to wait for the buyer to pick up my Skyline but the deposit has been taken on that and it's being held for me.

It's a 1994 Honda Accord VTi, 5-speed manual, ~233,000kms and the F22B1 2.2L VTEC four under the bonnet (145hp/108kW). Not exactly the sort of thing I expected to bond with but with something in this good nick it was kinda hard to pass up.

Everything is typical Honda: it works faultlessly. Aside from a small dent in the front bumper next to the numberplate it is in A1 condition. Can't wait to get my mitts on the steering wheel again!

Thanks guys.

Very clean. A quality looking car is a rarity for people your age.

True that, most people my age are running old Commodores with cut springs and other backyard DIY jobs...

Picking it up tomorrow! Going to be sad to see the Skyline go but the family's rejoicing over the fact we have two Hondas now :sly:

My favorite style of Accord, nice choice 👍

Only 145 hp from the 2.2 though? Swap it out for an H22 the first chance you get and start having some fun.

Some extra poke would be nice but I don't really wanna spend the $2000 or so to do the swap...

Picked 'er up today, loving it so far! Gonna give it a good wash over the weekend and snap some piccies :)

Quick trip to the bay down south; didn't have my Nikon on me but I just took this quick shot with my phone...not bad for a phone camera to be honest!

You took a scenic drive in your new car and DIDN'T take your good camera? Tsk tsk. Anyway, how's it treating you? Thought about a tint?

I went down there straight after I finished work. And it's going very well, the only thing that is iffy on it is the fuel gauge which seems to have a mind of its own.

First thing I'm most likely going to be getting for it is some King Springs and then a HID headlamp kit. That won't be happening for a couple of months though as I've got a few more important things to spend my hard-earned on.

EDIT: I'm also going to give it a wash later and then take it for a proper photoshoot at the disused railways round here.

Updates:

Couple of "new" pics

And the pea-shooter exhaust tips in that rear pic are now gone. Just got it back from the shop about 10 minutes ago; pics and vid of the new bits will be up in a couple of days. Basically though I got a straight-through Lukey Ultra Flo ACMS muffler and 2x2" chrome twin-tips. Certainly sounds more meaty now and it sounds pretty sweet in the VTEC zone.

Noice! Accords have great potential if you're interested in building up even without an H-swap. The F22Ax head is right up there with the S2000's in terms of flow, and the F22s in general can handle some nice boost on stock internals. A guy I talk to in Denver says he ran 14.x psi reliably for three years before he wanted more and strengthened everything. CD5tuner.com is your friend!

If you're keeping it stock, you still got a nice car there. They're not bad to scoot around town in, and personally I've always thought that body style looked pretty cool.

I'm keeping the mods light. I just got a new muffler for a better noise and I'm probably going to be getting some King Springs to give it a bit of a better stance but ultimately this is kind of like a "fill-in" until next year when I can afford one of the cars that I've been looking forward to getting. Great car though, will definitely be looking at Hondas in the future if my goal of a gen.2 V35 Skyline is still out of reach.
