Muscle Car Help!

Hey,

Having trouble tuning my Cuda and Superbird,

For both of them, I tuned the transmission like this:

Reset to default
Final gear to 4.800
5th gear to Max
Then Final all way back down
1st gear full left
2nd full left
And 3rd and 4th - I aligned them to match the other gears on the graph.

When I am launching in 1st or 2nd, very slow... Then it builds up slowly

Any tips?

I acknowledge they are hard to tune..

Thats way too high of a starting final gear for the superbird

subtract 1.000 from that

Also its too low for the Cuda

add .400 to that

launch both cars in 1st

also, take a look at where the peak power is. you'll find the cuda needs to be shifted quite early in the powerband. Superbird as well

This is what I use personally:

indy: 3.700
ssrx: 3.800

indy: 5.200
ssrx: 5.500

The rest of your steps are fine, except, dont touch 2nd gear. 1st full left, dont touch 2nd, 5th full right, align 3 and 4

premium challenger 1970, then race mod it.... i personaly perfer the cuda but they are both fast and pretty darn close, and the challengers easy to get.

Maybe suspension is a problem?

Suspension on 99% of muscle should be similar to this (play with your front Spring Rate)

Hate Chevy and I am disappointed to say the least that as far as muscle goes they are extremely fast on the 1/4 compared to mustangs, the only reason I didn't mention the Challenger RM is because it's officially a race car after you race modify it

Mustangs aren't real bad on the 1/4 IRL. In game, yes. But even a mild tune IRL can get you to run low 11s on street tires. With the setups we have in game, the Mach 1 should easily be able to run 9.5s.
