Do you guys think that SCE made a mistake by leaving out the muscle cars out of GT3? (i do) The only ones are the '66 GT40, and '67 Cobra. I see they went toward the concept car market this time.

I figure, why put in cars I'm never gonna use. I'll use the GT40's for sure cause they're my favorite cars. But other than I'm not a big fan of domestic all horsepower/torque no handling muscle cars.

I definitely think that leaving out the muscle cars was a mistake!!!!I loved the mercury cougar, the 67 corvette, and alot of others!!!!

I think they should have put in 10 to 15 muscle cars at least. And then they should have created a cup series just for the muscle cars and possibly put in the drag strip that was missing from GT2. That would have been great to race a 69' Camaro against a semilar Mustang or something.

And what about the hard drive coming out this fall? Why not make the game take advantage of being able to download new cars every week or something!

yea that sux there r no muscle cars def was lokking foward
to driving the 69 camro and the cuda
maybe there might be some bonus muscle cars

I guess that means there won't be any historic race series.  :(

The lack of muscle cars and historic racers is the only area were I am a little disappointed with GT3.  The classic cars were one of my favorites parts of GT2.  I would have liked to see the Shelby GT350 and GT500 and especially the Shelby Cobra Coupe.  What happened to the used cars too?  No more Toyota 2000GT or Datsun 510 I guess.  I feel it was a bad move to focus only on the newest equipment.  GT2 had such a broad range of cars both old and new, it made the game unique.  I feel that cutting out those cars brought the game down to the same level as so many other racing games on the market.

A REMINDER.....I am only discussing the list of cars not the graphics or anything else.  I am impressed with the game but at the same time I miss my classic cars.

I think all cars suck.  I am an active member of the citizens against automobiles club.  I think the developers of GT should eliminate all the cars and replace them with bicycles.  They are, after all, much safer.

Well you see GT1 was based on Japan, GT2 on the whole world+the past, GT3 is on the whole world+the future. Check out those prototypes!

I'm not a big muscle car fan, but I did like my pimped-out lime-green Superbird in GT2. A few examples of Detroit Steel woulda been nice, but I wouldn't want to wait another six months while PD modeled a whole bunch.

I think that it'd be good to bring back the muscle cars and have a Muscle Car cup like in GT2. 1971 Hemi Cuda, lime green factory paint, original shaker hood, mmm...

Yeah, its pretty dumb that they left out the widley considered best pony car of ALL TIME -  The 69 Camaro

OOOH an see it now

'69 Mustang 428 CJ
vs.
'69 C.O.P.O. 427 Camaro

The coolest thing about the old-skool Camaro in GT2 was that you could put dirt tires on it and go rally! No joke, but it didn't really handle too good on gravel. And is it just me or does the GT40 in GT3 sound meaner than hell?

u dudes are lame there are more than 2 muscle cars in gt3 there are 3. The shelby, the gt40 race car and 69 gt40 road car! I have the 69 gt40 roadcar it has spoke wheels. Gt4 shouldnt have any muscle cars or dragracing if it is to mimic gt in real life!
