Personally, I liked the Cobra R more in GT3. I can't stand the lack of power-oversteer in GT4, so I rarely drive them. To get the Cobra R handling more to my liking in GT4, I've found mixing softer tires with harder ones front to rear works wonders.

...but overall, I HATE the fact that there are no "regular" 3rd and 4th gen Mustangs in GT4 in the used lot.

....No 5.0s, no GTs, no SVOs, etc. It bothers me that I can only buy a 4th gen car in Red only. 👎 Cobra Rs are extremely rare in America. I personally have never even seen one...but I see "regular" Mustangs everyday. How come I can find a regular Camaro Z/28 in the used car lot, but not a regular 'stang?

Well, that's a change. I drove a Cobra R in the PD Cup in GT3 and never got above 4th gear in the entire series.

Yup. The Cobra R is a great match up against various NSXes, Lotuses and other sports cars in GT3. I drove many, many miles in GT3 in my Cobra R, but it's mostly due to the fact that there aren't very other Americans to play with. :grumpy: But you're right...anything above 4th gear (while the tranny is still stock) is mostly useless for racing.

I just bought one for 29k and it has that same sound but for some reason when i was doing the Hot rod championship a neon SRT-4 was pulling away from me why is that oh and how do you get custom pics for your profile?

Wow. This should be like 2 different sentences with commas and such, but whatever.

The front-drive cars in the American races are way souped-up, which I personally dig because it makes these races feel like everyone is sort of on the same page. It's as though PD really was trying to make even front-drive Ai count. You can beat them, tho...it ain't impossible. More power, better tuning, better driving & racing lines, etc will do it.

So far as your second question goes, you're still a New Member so you can't put up custom avatars yet. Only after a certain number of posts (I forget how many) do you get better abilities here.

Again, this sentence seems as though it should be two different sentences. Or one sentence with a comma in place somewhere. lol It doesn't make much sense, otherwise! Try it like this:

Thanks, but I don't want to pay any money. I don't care for special privileges.

It actually has nothing to do with money. As you post messages here, you go up in rank. Right now you're a New Member. Once you post a certain number of messages, you'll become an Active Member. Then a Junior. Then a Senior, etc. I'm not sure exactly when you get to make custom avatars, but eventually you do.

At 100 posts you can upload your custom avatar ;) Now that I think about it, it would be kinda interesting to have a list with all the possible ranks.

I'm sure it resides somewhere...probably in the Site Feedback section I would imagine.

I am a GM enthusiast, however i do love this car. I like it because of the handling. I beleive this is probably the best ford vehicle in the game.

I love my cobra R

I had one, maxed out, with a awesome drag tune, and a turning setup.

I just bought alow milage one, now I am rockin 625 HP. I keep the stock exhuast cuz it sounds the best. coolest part is, the car sounds like it has a eaton roots supercharger on it. sounds awesome turnin 7000 RPM.

its probly one of my favorite cars.

I have to admit, this car impressed me the first time I drove it.., First thoughts about it: "Hey a Mustang.., doesn't look like an ordinary Mustang, cool!! But it's a muscle car, I hate muscle car because of their handling.., Ahh, what the heck, I'll give it a try..,"

then, when I drove it.., ".......Whoa......... (cleared a series of corners) ....Amazing.....I haven't even tuned it, yet it handles great...this is a must-have on my garage..,"

This car is one of the very few muscle cars that impressed me, 👍👍

I believe you have been driving only old muscle cars, then. The Corvette Z06 is a much faster car than the Mustang, clocking Costa Di Amalfi faster than the RX-7, Skyline R34 and Mitsubishi's Lancer Evos. I once took part in an argument in which the S2000 was faster than the Z06. The truth is, the Corvette is way faster than a S2000, with both being stock, of course. But as I said, anyways, old muscle cars are nowhere near as good as modern muscle cars. Though I understood that modern muscle cars can't be called muscle cars at all...

The Corvette isn't really considered by most up here to be a true "muscle car", actually, it's considered to be more of a sports car. Before the Viper came along, the 'vette was the only true American mass-production sports car for a long, long time.

It falls into the "muscle-car" genre only because it's got a big V8 that is (or has been) shared by other true American muscle.
