Is there a way to mute people online? I was. In a game earlier and a 🤬 started playing rubbish rock music.

If you are in a lobby before the race starts you can click on their name and go to their gamer card and mute them. That is the only way I know of.

I simply start a party with only myself in it (forever alone :P) and set to party chat. That way you don't have to listen to anybody in online lobbies and you can also still hear your car engine during an online race :)

Seems a bit complicated compared to rolling the headset volume knob to zero. :P

I do wish we had more voice chat options, though. That automatic TV-audio-muting you're attempting to avoid is highly irritating, and I find myself doing the same thing -- plugging in the headset only to preserve my gameplay audio.

I avoid the use of a headset when I'm not racing with club members or friends :P The thing is annoying on my head :D

I didn't realize you could enable party chat without the headset plugged in. I see why you do it that way, then.
