Just curious has anyone practiced on the preseason track yet?And if so what are the average lap times your hitting with the MX5?

I did a dozen laps offline with tire wear on. IIRC something in the mid-1:46--1:47.

I did some testing and its pretty much the same, mid to low 27's. It will probably speed up a little bit one it's fully broken in though.

The regulations are good to go. I wouldn't change anything as far as the car goes. I personally need some more seat time, but it's a fun car. Good job Red.

Yeah, that's quick all right! Seems like I remember running mid 28's at best. No abs cockpit view. Can't remember if I was at full power yet-hope not!

28's were average last night with a quick time in the 27's

Make sure you had SRF off =)

25s are definitely possible. My best online is ~26.2 and I'm usually at least a second or two off the really fast guys. That and my MX5 has a ton of miles on it and probably needs a rebuild.

Also be sure draft is weak, grip is real, etc. It's easy to pick up a second or two with those on the default settings.

If grip is not set to real you can pick up time. Obviously draft won't have an effect.
