My 1991 Ford Escort LX

This little car is great. It takes me wherever I want with no problem.

The engine is an 88hp 1.9 CVH Straight-4 with a 5-speed Mazda F series manual transmission (from Wikipedia).

MPG: 27-30
TOP SPEED: 85mph

Nice. I had a 96 LX. I got 35MPG in that thing. I did a bunch of stuff to it, Escort S/R Tokico struts, Sprint lowering springs, OEM power window conversion, HKS exhaust. Good times.

I always wanted to do a Laser KH conversion with a BP-T from a 323 GTX.

A great car to own and learn how to drive on. I've had the 1988 Mercury Tracer (Silver), 1994 Ford Escort LX Sport (Red), and the last Escort I had was the 1998 ZX2 (Black Metallic). Great cars that I had a lot of fun learning how to drive and I enjoyed driving them, too! Especially the 1988, learning to drive on snow.. man too much fun!

That looks like a hybrid of an Escort and Lancer

I'm thinking of repainting my Escort to a dark silver-ish color. Then bring the rim size up from R13 to R15. Maybe a new exaust too...
