Best thing about an S2000 is the powers there when you want it.

It's no use buying a car with huge low down power if you can't use it.

That's what makes the Honda a blast on the track.

got a surprise today. went out for a family dinner, met parents there, saw a z4 without tags in the lot. went in, turns out he got a good lease on it, picked it up that day.

now, for me, i would much rather have the s2000, but i think the z4 is a better car for him. I was skeptical at first, but it is pretty nice. he got the 2.5, not the 3 liter. Its got good power. my m3 is a 2.3 4 with 195hp, i think this is a 2.5 6 with 195hp. my motor is much more fun, peaky above 5k, but the z4 motor is obviously more practical. the 6 really sounds good too.

the car is black. i will get some pictures up asap.

neat little car. the funny thing is, he has thought of bmws as pieces of **** up to now. he luaghed at my car. he has always liked benzes better, in an arrogant kind of way (no actual reason). he test drove some of the benz convertibles, and then the z4, he said the z4 was much more tight. the benzes just drove like ****. on a side note, my mother just tested that little benz hatch (the cheap one) out, after wanting one for a while. she said it was so damn horrible to drive. she compared it to a 330ci and on of the new v6 accords, and said they were 10 times better.

the z4 engine sounds very nice. though personally it reminds me too much of the z3 and i wouldn't buy one. (the z3 was after all a 'hairdressers car'). i'd get a z8 instead muahahahaha.

yea, same. hehehe. but then again, if i wanted to spend z8 kinda money, there would be a 996 gt3 in my garage instead. for convertibles under $50k, i think the s2000 is the best out there.

Sorry to be a pi$$er and all that, but I would have prefered the S2000 myself. The Z4 looks a bit silly.

hmmmmmmmmmmm, convertibles under $50k? well the sl55 is kinda out of the question, but i'd go for an M3 convertible to be honest. purely on looks.

though u are right about the 996, z8 is kinda expensive. as soon as i have scraped together enough money im buying a gt3. i was driving the ctr2 around tokyo 2048 yesterday and realised that a 996 with 993 headlights would be the ultimate looker. (kinda off topic but u just reminded me there heh)

i am going to own a gt3 some day. they are so damn cheap for what they are!!! as for a convertible under 50k..... I didnt consider the m3, that would be a good option also. But to be honest I have a thing for the s2000. I like racey cars. I respect hondas, they have great motors, but i dont want to own a FWD car.

i think the convertibles i am talking about are in two different categories.......convertibles, and sweet cars that happen to be convertibles. I dont like convertibles because they are convertibles, i just love the s2000 which happens to be a convertible.
